The best part was meeting people with similar interests from all over Europe and the USA. As an American I feel we rarely get this valuable chance. It was interesting to talk with the South African staff, too, both black and white. The lodge is on a river that leads to the sea and is framed against some stunning scenery.... More

We stayed out of season, but the resort went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even cooking dinner for us, even though we were the only people eating. Has a cosy bar and free Wi-Fi in the main building. Rooms are essentially log cabins, compact, but with everything you need.

We camped at Cremorne for two nights during our road trip exploring the Wild Coast of South Africa. The grounds and facilities are very neat and clean, with beautiful lawns and spacious campsites. Right on the river, looking up to the huge mountains overlooking Port St Johns. We had dinner and a buffet breakfast at their restaurant, the food was... More

From service to grub to friendliness, they all fit into the "excellent" column. Reviews from past guests saying that the rooms are neat and clean, damn right they are. One of the best resorts we have stayed at. Well done team. We look forward to a return visit.

Well set out location with lovely clean rooms. Restaurant food was good and well priced. Very accommodating and friendly staff made the stay all the more pleasurable. The gravel road could do with some upgrading in the near future.

The new management at the resort are fantastic and extremely friendly we booked into the fisherman's cottage and it was worth every cent that we paid. it only cost us R 520.00 per night in the new units otherwise we could have taken the R 430.00 units. What super staff and your unit get cleaned every day this was a... More

This was always our home away from home and we loved coming here to stay in the fishing cabins as they were always so affordable but now they are ridiculously expensive and there is nothing to justify the price of them... At over R300 per person and 2 of us so it's over R600 a night and all we get... More
