Lovely hotel, great ambiance, large pool overlooking ocean, nice rooms, in a rich garden, French managed. A bit outside Cap Skirring and the strip of hotels, making it very private and secluded. Direct access to the beach. Essentially it's as if you have your private pool and private beach. Very friendly staff. Excellent food which you need to book a...

Big clean rooms, nice swimming pool with plenty of loungers, and garden. small bar with slow service, and restaurant, and access to the beach (usually empty apart from the odd cow wandering about). it's out of town and down a dirt track. wifi is free, best service top end of the pool

This place is just amazing and wonderful located. Of course that you need a car to reach the village but it is just in front of the beach and you have a nice swimming pool as well. Rooms are okay. Some bugs around but it is clean. Good for weekend and couples!

We stayed at Hotel Maya three nights just before Christmas. So far, this experience has been the best of a good visit to Senegal. The five-year-old hotel is run by Rosine, a French woman with Club Med experience. She is delightful, friendly, speaks excellent English, at the helm of a well-run organization. Our room was simple but quite comfortable, with...

Stayed 5 days here in November and it was great. The rooms are clean with separate toilet and shower, TV, air con. The bed was good enough but on the usual soft side. The pool is a good size and clean with the beach just a walk down the stairs. The full board is probably worth the cost just because...

We stayed at Maya for our anniversary. BIG MISTAKE! When we were checking in, there were 30 dead grasshoppers all over the room. When I asked if they had mosquito nets, the woman said, "This is Africa, you know" . VERY RUDE, considering I have been all over Africa and I have even camped in many different countries. For 50...

I've stayed here for months at a time, the staff were all excellent, the views are spectacular, the beach is beautiful with none of the hassles one finds on Cap Skirring beaches. It's in paradise and just away from the unpleasantness that can be found Cap, yet close enough for any trips in needed. And lastly, Rosine the visionary owner...
