A BOUTIQUE INN & THE MOST HISTORIC BUILDING IN LAKE PLACID A historic gem nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks, The Lake Placid Stagecoach Inn offers a rustic and elegant getaway from everyday life. The Stagecoach Inn is the oldest building in Lake Placid built in 1833. Updated, the Inn has maintained its charm and comfort for the 21st-century traveler. Begin each morning with complimentary breakfast in the dining room, which includes homemade yogurt (a secret recipe!) and fresh pastries. Take your coffee to the Great Room, which boasts cathedral ceilings framed with yellow birch logs and warm up by the original fireplace. Hop in the car and drive ten minutes to the greatest winter sports destination in the northeast-- Whiteface Mountain. In the spring and summer, explore the trails through the picturesque Adirondacks. The Village of Lake Placid is minutes away and offers great restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.

Lovely historic inn. Real history surrounds you. The inn was great but the staff was wonderful. Fantastic imaginative breakfasts served in 2 courses with delicious coffee in front of a fireplace in a delightful sitting room. In the evenings Zack, our bartender ( he's also the front desk guy and the food server), made the most inventive drinks we've ever had. It was entertainment just watching him concoct drinks that were personalized just for our likes. We had a wonderful getaway at the Stage Coach Inn and look forward to another trip!

Great stay for a long weekend! The inn is charming and cozy, conveniently located, and in my opinion the best option for a long weekend in Lake Placid. The service (and breakfast) provided were both top notch. We went into town and engaged in a variety of activities - then would come back to the inn and relax, read by the fire, etc. Would recommend this to any couple looking for some relaxation.

Our stay at the Stagecoach Inn will always be an unforgettable memory. My husband and I eloped here. Stacia and her staff made sure every detail was attended to. We never felt stressed and quiet frankly felt pampered and special. The accommodations were charming and cozy. You will want for nothing. As soon as you walk in you get the sense of being home. It is warm, inviting and best of all quiet. It made for a relaxing and romantic weekend. The food was outstanding. Drinks and the fire pit is a nice touch. Our experience and their hospitality has guaranteed that we will return as often as we can.

Such an amazing weekend!! This adorable cozy place will not disappoint.. Donna and Greg who were taking care of the inn were such amazing host they go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and did I mention their breakfasts and drinks are delicious!! My Fiancé and I stayed here for a long weekend in the Jenny suite so romantic. Also waiting for us in the room was a beautiful floral arrangement with s’mores, chocolates and a wonderful handwritten card!!! There’s so many outdoor activity’s to do in Lake Placid and for us that hiking. We went to Keene (25min) and hiked Rooster comb and Snow Mt (definitely recommend spikes and snow shoes) absolutely beautiful! My boyfriend proposed to me on top of the Mt and when we went back to the inn Donna and Greg had a the warm fire pit roaring outside Perfect for roasting Our s’mores on a snowy winters night with cozy Warm blankets!!! I would recommend this amazing little inn to anyone looking for a relaxing romantic getaway!! I cannot wait to come back up here again!!!!

This was a beautiful little gem right outside the main street of Lake Placid. My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend in the Dewey Day suite and absolutely loved how cozy and relaxing the Inn was. The hiking trails right by the inn that connected to Henry's Woods was so convenient and absolutely beautiful! It made snowshoeing even more enjoyable. Breakfast every day was absolutely delicious, you could truly tell how much pride they have in their craft. I would definitely recommend this beautiful little gem to anyone looking to get away for a relaxing, cozy weekend in the North Country!
