It is a nice place, carefully decorated and furnished. Particular nice is the tea salon and the stylish and tasty afternoon coffee, as well as the nicely presented breakfast. What was less positive was the lack of warm shower water in the morning and the chaotic management of the bookings (we were told two days before our arrival that due...

We had a king sized bed in a room with a north facing balcony, hence awesome views. Large bathroom with corner bath, though just shower head attached. Importantly in July, heater in bedroom and heated towel rail. Also a coffee maker with ground coffee, and bar fridge. We had breakfast one morning and it was very good with eggs and...

We sadly only had one night in Cilaos but we're pleased to have spent it at this hotel. Our children particularly enjoyed the large bath! The walks in the surrounding hills were really beautiful even if the weather wasn't perfect.

Very nice welcoming with war towel and fruit juice. Rooms are lovely, although a bit outdated. Nice fresh breakfast. We tried to do the wine cave, but apperantly when the owner is away you just can't get in there, not even have a look or something, which wasvery disappointing. So don't go to Tsilaosa for the wine cave, although they...

This is a great place to stay in Cilaos, on the main street, with character, big and beautifully decorated rooms, large bathrooms, very helpful and friendly staff! We were greeted with fresh juice and warm towels - much appreciated after the rather tiresome driving up the "road of 400 turns". Parking is availble. Our stay was a real pleasure, we...

This is a quaint little hotel in the centre of Cilaos. While it doesn't have many features one would expect of a 4 star hotel (e.g. no pool/terrace or a substantial lounge or common area) it has a lovely charm that reminds one of being somewhere in the Alps. The rooms are decently sized and fairly nicely decorated. The bathrooms...

Although these days we often stay in four to five star hotels this one (although rated four stars) is more like three stars but tres charmant nonetheless. Lovely room with floorboards, shower attachment in bath was awkward but not unusual for Reunion. Beaut balcony with view to mountains. Breakfast is substantial and good quality- much better than the usual continental...

Such a fantastic experience, great value, friendly staff and lovely cakes! We only stayed one night but wish we had time to stay longer, the staff from the outset were genuine and friendly even though there was a bit of a language barrier. From the refreshment on arrival to the friendly chat on check out we had such a wonderful...

We arrived in Cilaos and were extremely happy that we picked this sweet little place. Our room was lovely and overlooked the mountains. The bed was comfortable, the shower great. Decent sized room with quite a bit of space, and decorated with taste. Breakfast was copious - tea, coffee, hot chocolate, savory breads, croissant, pain-Au-chocolat, homemade jams, eggs however you...
