Excellent food. Staff superb. Rooms spacious. Ours was a little way out which might be a problem if elderly or infirm. Lovely outdoor shower with river view. Took a sunset trip to Popo falls - really good.

Maybe the lack of sign posts to find this place could have been a clue. We found this Lodge to be old and sad with some of the staff trying hard and others just confused. The lounge and dining area played the same old music over and over, I think they only had one recording. Our dining experience lived up...

The lodge is beautifully located high above the river side. The building architecture is amazing with a stunning g interior design. However the lodge struggles with quality of service such as: Dirty windows, chair broken, outside shower water drainage not working, towels dirty, Aircon not cooling well (same situation after 2 days). But the restaurant staff are super friendly and...

While the location and ROOMS (oh, I dream of those rooms) are lovely, there seemed to be some confusion about my reservation. First of all, I let the lodge know in advance that I was a vegetarian, which they acknowledged at check-in, but at dinner I found that no special arrangements had been made and the kitchen was unwilling to...

This is a beautifully situated and well-appointed hotel. Room was great...except the outside shower which had a blocked drain. The restaurant menu was rather limited for a hotel in this price range - especially as regards to salads and vegetables. Service at the restaurant was rather patchy, with breakfast orders being confused. Biggest negative was that when we checked out,...

Loved this place. Hippos in the river near the restaurant. Rooms lovely with outdoor showers and frangapanis in the trees. Food was very nice. Loved the decor of the bar/dining area. Expected to be eaten alive by mosquitoes, they were not bad here either.

We were a large group of twenty adults that stayed here for two days. Beautiful lodge right on the river's edge, excellent service from the cleaner's to the waiters, to the office and spa staff. Beautifully laid tables every evening, attentive service and wonderful food (five course dinner). Thank you chef Hendrik!Nothing was too much to ask and river trips...

Beautiful resort with great views of the Okavango River. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed a river cruise with sundowners on an island near Popa Falls. A lot of hippos, elephants, numerous birds and a beautiful sunset near the falls. Very enjoyable. The next day our game drive to Mahangu National Park was fun. Lots of austriches and monkeys and...

The sign doesnt look like much from the road - do they ever though? Dusty road and then you pull into the gates and you've arrived at an Eden. Once down at reception it just gets better and down at the restaurant and bar its bloody fabulous! Service is great, food is excellent, staff are professional & friendly. Boat cruises...

“Theyre all identical. Numbers 4 and 5 are nearest the lodge. High numbers can be a bit of a walk from the restaurant, but nothing is too far.”

“With 20 rooms to choose from though all having a river view it would be difficult to recommend. We were in room 19 which is last but one and so was unlikely to experience any passing noise though cant imagine this would be much of an issue. View from room 19 was 'ok' as partly covered by trees on the river bank though did get good sun through the afternoon and offered good bird watching. There are delightful little sunbirds feeding off the trees behind the chalet.”
