We enjoyed the stay. The main course is Buffett and the Starters and the Dessert are really extraordinary and served. The chalets are wide with an exzellent bathroom. A nice terrace offers a river View.

This is one of the Gondwana Collection lodges, one of 2 crown jewels we had the pleasure of being guests. Each room is a private chalet, on the Kwando River, with ample space, its own deck and the most aromatic body wash, lotion and shampoo, provided in large pump bottles instead of the usual tiny toiletry rations. Sadly, the swimming...

The lodge offers convenient bungalows wit everything the globetrotter needs. It's functional with nice views over the river. An asset is the easy by boat access to the conservatory and short ride to the safari game ride vehicules. The are many hipos an crocs to be seen on the way. The food is average and waiters not well trained. Pricing...

I prefer more small personal lodges. The service was so so. To breakfast there were still the residuals of the Dinner-buffet . The service looked a little bit annoyed if you ask for something. The pool was green, so you could´t use it. The food was ok. We had a good boat game drive with a nice hippo group. The...

The Lodge also has 4 campsites, which have their own ablution block (hot water via a donkey) and overlook the water and plains. The bar area is very nice and the bar is well stocked. Internet has a good speed, although only available till 9.00PM. My only concerns are that the electricity was not strong enough, even though we only...

This lodge was one of the highlights of a 3 week trip. The area is fabulous with lush vegetation and so much wildlife. Game drives start off with a short boat trip on the Kwando River then a safari vehicle. The lodge was beautiful with views of the river, excellent food and a charming room.
