We spent one night at Namushsha and just loved our stay. Gondwana lodges are great as a rule but Namushsha must be one of their bests. Great rooms, friendly service and a good dinner and breakfast. A veldfire raged throughout the night across the river and we saw the ephants swim over to safety. They got away but so many... More

We booked this location over a year in advance we have driven 8 hours upon arrival we are advised that there is no dinner that it is all booked and that there is nothing to eat here for us. I guess I can get a drink at the bar. The lodge looks nice but we are not staying here again.... More

The views from our balconies were amazing here ... the river just below and the plains stretching off into the distance. Lovely spacious rooms with a good shower and comfy beds. Breakfast and lunch were served under cover, while dinner was served on the lower deck under the stars ... all delicious!

Stayed in a two bedroom villa with view over the river. The location of the lodge is very beautiful. Did the sundowner cruise that was great. Food and service was good. Value for money is very good. We only spent one day not sure what you could do if you stayed for many days.

What a gem of a haven in one of the remotest parts of the continent! We absolutely loved our stay here. The bungalows are spacious and very luxurious. The main building has a lovely location high above the river and, facing west, offers beautiful opportunities to enjoy the legendary African sunsets across the plumes of the reeds on the flood... I am a frequent guest and as always the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and management is notable. The recent improvements to the rooms are great. Even when the lodge is full, you do not feel crowded and this does not affect the service. I was on a business trip and it was refreshing to be able to quickly... More

We had campsite 2 for 2 nights, directly situated at the river. Private toilet/ablution with 2x hot water per day (donkey), cleaned daily. Campsite big with lots of privacy, grass and a braai. Power point at ablution. WiFi free at reception/bar. Friendly staff, nice to enjoy coffee or beer on the deck with a perfect view onto the river. Boat... More

We booked a 4 sleeper family unit using our Gondwana cards which made this lodge the best value for money of our trip. The unit has two huge separate bedrooms and a big bathroom. It is tastefully furnished and overlooks the river. The bar and restaurant offer great views over the river with a cosy boma area. Two resident Fish... More
