Okay - we should not really tell this (since the risk is that it will be occupied next time we arrive there) - the tented raft - so cool, staying in a luxury african tent on a raft with hippos passing all the time- it cannot get any better. Actually it can - because the place is run by good...

Place and general setup of the Lodge is nice. In relation to the room prices the tents and the decks of the tents are of some age and would need renovation. The main building is a bit dark. Dinner selection could offer more alternatives. There is lots of room for improvements.

Ndhovu Lodge is beautifully nestled by the river banks- makes for excellent views of hippos and elephants as well as warthogs and beautiful birds galore! The tents are - even though fairly 'simple'-very inviting and cozy, no a/c, but fans that were sufficient for our stay in early December. Dinner is in a beautiful and cozy area of the lodge,...

This camp is beautiful. The tented lodges were so comfortable and the bathrooms really well maintained and no mosquitos at all. We hippos so close in the river we sat and watched them for ages. The food here was delicious and our hosts were extremely welcoming it was a great atmosphere that this place I would definitely return!

We stayed at Ndhovu for 2 wonderful nights. Our hosts Berit and Eli were fabulous, the food was exceptional and we particularly liked the communal dining as we met some lovely fellow travellers with interesting tales. Very close to Mahango National Park, lots of wildlife to see from our very comfortable tent and a bird watchers paradise. Prices were very...

Great place to stay for a couple of nights. The views from the deck of the river with elephants and hippos were great. The evening boat trip down the river was lovely with an informative guide and lots of animals to spot. The food served was delicious, although I would preferred not to have communal dining as we were the...

We have spent 2 beautiful days on Hippo boat with captain Horst, seeing elephants, Hippos, crocodiles, taking a bath in the Popa falls. It was quiet, peaceful with a good rest. Nice foods and good lunch services. A trip to be done in the Caprivi strip. Thanks to all the team of Ndhovu lodge

We could see hippos from the tent. Nice lodge, good food and fair prices for the drinks. Friendly staff. Good tents, but the bathroom is a little bit dark and half in the open. But we had a very pleasant stay.

Nice little place situated on the river with some incredible views. The deck is awesome for morning breakfast and hippo spotting. Beds are comfortable and the layout is good, but somewhat small. I really liked the layout because there was adequate space to lay out our luggage. The mosquito nets needed better positioning, but we didn't need them. The problem...

Accomodation and food were average. Check-in staff were not very friendly or helpful. Did hire a guide via one of the staff to take us to Tsidilo Hills the main reason for this stop. That guide did not routinely work there since he was on leave but he was excellent, took us to Tsidilo and went with him on boat...

The Ndhovu Safari Lodge does not offer any trips to Tsodillo Hills in Botswana since the Botswanana tourist association forces us to get local ( i.e botswanese ) guides to do the guiding in their country. It is therefore not permitted for any Namibian guide to take guests to places of interest in Botswana .
