We arrived later, around 20.00 but they welcomed us very friendly. They offered us tea and some nuts. We didn’t had dinner because we had a big lunch but the breakfast is really good and a lot of it as well. The location is great, the Palmeraie is just behind the building and the Todra Gorges is not that far. It is possible to walk from the Geusthouse to the Todra Gorges. And last but not least, the staff is very friendly and willing to help you.

After a long day of driving, and our reservation elsewhere that went awry at the last minute, and as night fell, we were lucky and very fortunate to have found Rashid's lovely guesthouse, and stayed, unplanned, for one night. At the late hour, Rashid met us at the street, warmly welcomed us into his guest home with tea and a tour, and served us one of the most delicious dinners of our entire trip. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was served on the patio with a lovely view of the palms all around. We enjoyed a tour of the palmeraie the next morning that he arranged, but due to time travel constraints, we declined a trip to the market with his guide. Rashid was a lovely host with a sense of humor. I would highly recommend a planned stay.

Our stay at the Palmeraie Guesthouse was truly memorable. As my partner and I traveled during Ramadan, we ended up being the only two staying at the guesthouse for the night. Within seconds of meeting Rashid and Doreen, we felt welcome and comfortable; their hospitality was amazing. They upgraded us to the best room they have and welcomed us with a mint tea. We were then given a tour of their beautiful home, before stepping out of the back door into the palm oasis to explore. We were later invited to join them for ftour, the fast breaking meal, which was truly special. Afterwards, the dinner Rashid prepared was the best of our entire visit to Morocco. The breakfast on the terrace was incredibly relaxing and delicious. In the morning, they arranged a guide to bring us through the Palmeraie and to the Todra Gorge, which was a very pleasant trip. Our only regret was not staying longer than one night. This is the sort of establishment that you should go out of your way to experience, as the memories from the Palmeraie Guesthouse will be well worth it.

We got here after a day driving up for the desert. The guesthouse is located several steps from the road but do not get discouraged. Once in this great house and his favolosa host will welcome you in the best way possible. The room was essential but very clean, breakfast are good and rich, dinner you won’t want to loose it. From here we had a great hike with the brother of the host from the gorges up to top and back down.... we recommend it Now we are in Marrakech and we miss such lovely quiet
