We were on a tour in an overpriced restaurant nearby so we went to this one instead, the restaurant agreed to give a meal for 50 each for the whole group. Lovely people and good price at the end. Huge quantities

We only stopped here for lunch as part of a Gate 1 tour. The price of the meal was included in our tour, so I can't speak to the cost. However, they seated us family style at large tables and produced massive quantities of very good food. There was Berber bread for everyone. It was supposed to be a "light...

Stayed here for 1 night on our tour - was wowed by the setting against the high sides of the gorge, reached by a wooden bridge across the river. Think there has been lots of refurbishments since other travellers stayed here. Our room was huge - 6 beds in (for only 2 of us), nothing coordinated in the décor &...

An amazing place to visit! Surrounded by towering rocks in a gorge with a beautiful little river in front of you. Ask Nasseem to take you round La Palmeraie in the morning sunshine. See a Berber community at work in this enormous and pretty oasis. Okay the rooms are far from luxurious - but this is real Morocco! And we...

We had lunch here one day on a 2 day trip. Suspicion was aroused when no menu was provided – just our driver saying the kofta (meatballs) were good. He was clearly embarrassed at the price of the meal (120 dirhams a head) compared to the quality. He had expected the cost to be about 80 dirhams which was at...

Good location at the foot of the Todra Gorge but the basic nature of the hotel came as a shock after staying in much nicer places. But accounting for the budget tariff the rooms were at least clean. The main problem was the heating provided was a open burner attached to a propane bottle! Not wanting to be poisoned we...

Located between the high cliff walls of the todra gorge in a cluster of lodgings, this hotel was already visibly from the outside the worst pick. We came here as part of a Geckos tour, so had no choice but thank goodness just one night here. The towels are small old dirty rags that seemed more appropriate for shining shoes...

This hotel/kasbah was probably the best one of my 12 days across Morocco. The location is very nice (Todra Gorge) and inside the hotel looks very clean and it has a typical Maroccan style. I also had dinner and breakfast there and both were good. The quality/price is very good, if you are able to negotiate the price! I will...

This hotel is delightful, it is in the Troda Gorge which is an excellent place for going on walks, it is also near many wonderful places. The rooms are in good condition and the food is exceptionally good. The rooms are on the roof of the building and are located around a communal socializing zone, there is an even further...
