After driving through a torrential rain we arrived at the Lamplight Inn and were warmly welcomed. Our host went out in the rain and showed us our suite and made sure we were settled in. Our room was in the Carriage House addition and was a large comfortable room with a king sized bed and gas fireplace in a cozy...

The Lamplighter Inn is beautiful inn, located in a great spot (we took the North Creek - Saratoga Springs train up to North Creek to bike around on Saturday and then biked along the Hudson right from the inn on Sunday). The inn keepers and staff were very warm and inviting and were very helpful at giving directions and recommendations...

You took advantage of our new Tourist Train to North Creek. As you told me, the train was very accommodating to you and your bikes. What a fun day that must have been for the both of you. I'm glad our breakfast got you going for the trip to North Creek, we try really hard to please all types of...

Beautiful B&B oozing with Upstate NY charm. The inn keepers were warm and inviting as was the entire staff. The hearty country breakfast was delicious and filling. Our room was so relaxing and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed at previous B&Bs and were not as impressed as we were with the Lamplight Inn. We had a great time...

I'm happy you enjoyed your stay during peak foliage. The Fall is a beautiful time of year in the Adirondacks. Would love to see you back, or have you try a different season. We are here all year.

The Lamplight Inn was so charming and welcoming. Our room - The Saratoga Room - was beautiful. The breakfast menu filled with homemade goodies couldn't have been better. Look forward to going back soon. Thumbs up all the way!

We went for a mini vacation to leaf peep and explore the area. The rooms are extremely clean, the parking is very convenient, the breakfasts are delicious and the hosts are wonderful. We couldn't have asked for more, and the jacuzzi was so nice to come back to after spending a day out in the cold fall weather. We would...

I'm so glad you had a good stay at our B&B. The Fall is beautiful in the Adirondacks and Lake George Village does get quiet, but it is always good to come back to the Jacuzzi.

Fabulous place. First, Lake Luzerne is at a wonderful, convenient distance from NYC and Boston, so that anyone looking for a weekend gateway to the Lake George, Lake Champlain and Lake Placid Regions would be wise to spend at least their first night here. You can leave work a few minutes early on Friday and still get here at a...

I'm glad you had a good time. The both of you were so well planned during your stay with us. You experienced Lake George and Lake Placid and in between. I'm glad we got in a little protein filled breakfast for you so you could catch the tourist train up in Lake Placid. Hope to see you again.

Just had a wonderful 9 nine days as a guest at the Lamplight. A wonderful property located in Lake Luzerne with easy access to Lake George... hiking trails in the Adirondacks... Saratoga Springs... and Glens Falls. Best part of this beautifully renovated property are the hosts, Linda and Gene, who started developing the Inn 28 years ago. They are a...

Thank you for the wonderful review. You both became part of the family after a nine day stay. You were so pleasant and fun to talk to. You hiked despite 9 days of crazy weather. Hope you come back for a visit and to try out other Adirondack peaks.

We were given a gift certificate for a B&B from our children. We chose the Lamplight Inn due to it's proximity to Warrensburg, NY. Upon arrival we were greeted by Linda & Gene and immediately felt at home. The Inn is beautiful after many years of Gene's refurbishing. Went off to Warrensburg the next day to attend the "World's largest...

I love when guests can make the best out of a rainy weekend. You met new people and had a good breakfast and treked around the World's Largest garage Sale in misty rain, and still had fun. We had such a great group of guests that weekend. It made it fun for us.

We visited this inn in 2001 and found it to be very charming. Eleven years later we returned to find the inn keepers just as friendly as before, the inn had grown with several modern day options and features.
