The campground has some nice wooded sites but it was not worth the money. The only reason we chose this campground even though it was more money than the most was because they supposedly have wifi on the site and we had to still conduct work while on this trip. The wifi was excruciatingly slow and aggravating. We just had...

The Good: We enjoyed our 5 night stay at this campground because we could use our own bathroom and shower. Additionally, there was plenty of room between the spaces and the property is in the woods. It is in a very nice setting with access to all Lake George and Lake Lucerne have to offer. The Bad: The facilities and...

I really wonder why this campground still operates under KOA's banner.... It has nothing of a KOA and I visited a lot of them... No hot water passed 10pm, campground looks dead, no activities as typically found in KOA... And the bathroom... two toilets and 3 showers wich are the size of a phone booth. Next time I'll go somewhere...

The bathrooms were filthy and only cleaned once every 24 hours, that's just disgusting. If they would allocate 30 mins 3 times a day it would make a huge difference, instead of 1 hour in every 24 hours. The showers were narrow, and make shift, the shower was not clean-- band aids in the showers, used q-tips. Disgusting! The cabin...

This is the worst Koa we have been to. I would watch the wiring it is not up to code nailed on the trees and comes out of the fuse box with all these wires outside a real fire waiting to happen. There is no fire wood you had to gather your own wifi sucks. Office is suppose to be...

Booked a 3 night stay at KOA Lake George August 1, 2014, but had to leave after first night. The staff were not very welcoming which I found unusual for a KOA. We were two 36 foot RVs in our party, and had reserved 2 sites beside each other, and they had allowed someone else to remain on one of...

We reserved the 4th of July weekend. Camp site 16 (Three days $144.) The sites are located under tall pines which is very cool. the sites are very close together so there was very little privacy. The fire pits are old truck rims so there rather narrow and located close to the camp ground road. Again no privacy! We set...

First of all the grounds are nice. They are wooded and feel more like camping than most. That being said the sewer at our site ran uphill, the power at all the site around us was weak and kept popping the main. We had to choose between ac and hot water. They advertise wifi but it doesn't actually work and...

This is our second time driving down from Canada to this KOA. We now have 3 kids from 6 year old to 3 months old and we enjoy the peacefulness of this campsite. It is old and modestly maintained but we love it. It is different from the other "open concept" KOA's we've been too and truly enjoy the simplicity...

What a disappointing place. We have a large RV and pulled a car. Site was quiet, too quiet, absolutely NOTHING going on! If we had not brought a car we would have been totally stuck. I so wish we had read these reviews before we went. Did anyone look at the owners house on the way in....what a disgrace, an...

“This is a quiet KOA. It is more of a place to stay while you visit the areas of Lake George and such. Do not expect big things. It is not a hotel and it does not offer entertainment.”
