We spent 6 days as a couple at this Auberge and had the most relaxing time ever. Room with a view of the beach. Waking up early, jogging and hiking to Trou d'argent which is just after St. François and by the time we were back breakfast was ready! For breakfast there's homemade yoghurt and everyday there's a different cake...

A large, comfortable and well ventilated room with a view of the beach. Great food, friendly staff. Very reasonable rates for car hire. I enjoyed my stay very much and would be only too happy to stay again.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights in this quiet Rodrigues backwater and had a very good relaxing time before heading back for another week on Mauritius. It was a great way to break up the holiday and have no pressure on seeing or doing things. Although we did arrange to be driven for a day around the island to...

We went to Rodrigues as a couple to kick-start 2016 with simplicity & authenticity and L'Auberge St Francois was our prime choice. We wanted to actually feel what Rodrigues is all about - be closer to the people and get to taste the local dishes the way locals actually cook them. L'Auberge St Francois fitted exactly into what we were...

The Auberge St Francois is at the image of Rodrigues: simple, authentic, calm and relaxing. The friendly and smiley team takes pride in everything they do and you feel valued and looked after at every level . The suite I stayed in was very big, spotless, quiet with all equipment I needed and such great value ! I would however...

The staff are amazingly friendly, the food is deliciously local and the rooms are perfectly clean. The peace and quiet was unbelievable. Having the beach across the road is the icing on the cake. Would recommend this to any one looking for a relaxing holiday.

If, like us, you want to experience the opposite of an impersonal stay in a generic hotel...then St François is the place for you! Please don't get me wrong, the auberge is impeccably kept, the rooms pristine, every comfort provided. But in addition to all the basics, St François possesses that rarest of qualities in a hotel : authenticity. The...

Very few places anyplace in the world offer the miles of white sand beaches that Rodrigues offers where you are more likely to see cows and goats rather than people. The south coast, including Plage Saint Francois, have the prettiest beaches. The horizon is an incredible array of blues and greens from turquoise to blue and lavender. I spent New...

Auberge St Francois is a lovely and relaxed place to stay, perfect location to just take off for a day hiking or diving nearby and the beach across the road was always deserted when I was there. The highlight for me was the lovely ladies who worked there, who not only provided such professional and friendly service and amazing food...

The truly best part about the place was its location: just across from a lovely pristine beach. Aside from the odd cow grazing, you feel like you are completely on your own. As for the accomodation, there was definately room for improvement. When we arrived, it was evening time and very hot. We were given the room key then the...
