Well the staff are very warm, the place is beautiful and the meals are well done.Never spent the night but I loved the place. If you do not like noise/love serenity, this is the right place for you.I would revisit...
Thayu hotel was pretty average. The rooms were okay, nothing special. The food was edible but not great. The rooms were really spread out so you had to carry our luggage for a while. The grounds were really pretty though.
Nice place with fast internet, lush green gardens with well-manicured lawns and hospitable staff. Perfect for city breaks & family getaways. If you are an introvert, this is heaven. The location is perfect. Also, the scenic roads leading up to the place makes up for a nice ambiance
The have a very beautiful environment. However, the food and hospitality we received was not worth the money we were charged.I had really looked forward to visiting the place but I left disappointed. We had ordered lamb chops and fried chicken and what we were served was a total disappointment.
Had a late event in Limuru and had to find a place to stay for the night. At the price they were charging for a double bed and breakfast, I expected more having stayed at establishment similar to this in the area. The room was very basic and small (stayed in Rm. 7). Due to the cold weather and since there was not fire place in the room at least a heater would have done the trick. It was a cold night for me. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment, I expected a wide variety buffet but it was like breakfast you would get from a sub-$ 30 hotel. The very basic breakfast meals were missing e.g: Bacon, baked beans, juices, pasties (only bread was available), and fruits. All I could have was sausage, tea, bread and an egg. For accommodation that I paid almost $100 on BB basis, I considered it a rip off. All in all the environment is very peaceful, quiet and relaxing but the establishment can do much better on value for money delivery.…
