I didn't notice a problem when we went in November - the boys went down there regularly to have a look at what was going on. Their private beach is very small but to be honest we preferred to walk along the peach a find a private bar etc., you can use the Senengambia right next door their part of the beach is sightly bigger but the pool was nicer with excellent staff and lights meals and drinks
