The hotel is simple but very good for the Ethiopian standards: wifi available, good beds in the bungalows and really good restaurant. Thank you to the Chef that gets out of the kitchen to take time to speak with the clients! Thank you, the food was really excellent! Moreover we were lucky. During new Years Eve the hotel organized a...

This is a very nice hotel. It is very centric in the city of Lalibela and near the hewn churches. The rooms are spacious and very well furnished. The staff is really nice and warm and the food is good, anyway you can find better places to eat in Lalibela. The best thing to tell about this hotel is the...

I have stayed in this hotel for about 5 times in this year, I travel for business. They have decent and clean rooms and food. They also have free shuttle and breakfast. But still need to work more on customer treatment.

With great expectation, I visited this hotel. The room was tiny and clear to stay for my family. But the staff did not look having responsibility for guests. He has changed his promise to us about the time for the shuttle bus to the airport . We did not have any choice but to leave the hotel without any preparation...

I stayed here for 3 nights in September. Great place to relax and escape the harassment encountered as a solo female traveller in Ethiopia, this really was an oasis for me in terms if taking some time out from more budget places and I was made to feel completely at ease here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly...

This is my second stay at Lal and I am pleasantly surprised with staff hospitality that gets warmer and more detailed each time. The architecture is totally in-theme with Lailbela churches even with composition and color research on some food menu items. Best part aside the amazing coffee of Lal hotel also has a nice swimming pool and a full...

Pros: a large hotel with decent services; the tukul room in which we stayed was attractive with wood floors, comfortable bed and very quiet location (perfect for a sound night's sleep). I also appreciated the hotel's flexible approach to pricing and willingness to accommodate our 12-year old child in our room without additional charge. Cons: solar-heated hot water is only...

This is a good basic hotel. The bathroom was clean. I was in a room with two single beds. The staff was friendly. The location was convenient. The restaurant was adequate. Again this is a basic hotel.

We stayed in one of the Gojo Bets (traditional huts) with a view over the Lalibela mountains. Was great waking up to that in the morning. They offers a free shuttle bus to and from the airport and wifi in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable and CHEAP! I really liked that they are a green and eco...
