Adirondack feel right in the middle of town! Very clean room with fridge! Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to shop, drink and eat. Beautiful views and access to the lake. Went for the Adirondack Balloon Festival and will definitely stay there in the future.
We have been coming to Lake Crest Inn for about 3 years in a row now and wouldn't change a thing! Well; one thing I would change: to allow dogs since I am a doggy mom and I hate to leave him behind! Rooms are Adirondack-style and each room has a 32" TV. Free Wi-Fi and parking is available. Lake access to swim or swim at the pool. Great view of the lake! The lady at the front desk is an absolutely pleasure to speak with. She was very helpful with everything that I needed and went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful one! I would highly recommend staying at Lake Crest Inn! It is in the heart of the Village of Lake George and everything is within a walk distance!
Just returned from another great stay at Lake Crest Inn. Husband and I have stayed here for last 3 years and it never disappoints. Check in super easy. Rooms clean with many having great views of the lake. Walking distance to the village. Can’t wait for next trip.
Very disappointed! For the money you pay to stay at lake crest inn I would’ve expected a much cleaner nicer room . So my issue was a Cold shower no hot water room 26. Manager could of cared less . Once they have your money It’s over. Just made a note
Very quiet room, had the entire porch reserved just for our room. Made hot afternoons much cooler and relaxing, which is what we came to Lake George to do - very clean room, front staff was extremely welcoming. So close to all the downtown food and events that we rarely moved our car. This was our 3rd annual stay and plan on coming back every year. Thursday night fireworks were the best to watch from our porch! Plan on being in Lake George during them.
We had such a wonderful stay at the Lake Crest Inn. Our room was large and clean, and the property is outstanding and well-kept. Everyone we spoke to or met was very friendly as well. And it's very centrally located to the heart of town. We were in Lake George to get married in June and stayed here for about a week. Couldn't have asked for a better location and backdrop (right on the lake!) to help us make some amazing memories. Thanks again and can't wait to be back!
My wife and I came here for our anniversary. We expected nothing fancy considering the reasonable rates and would have left a 4 star or better had it not been for the bad experience we had on arrival. We checked into our room, and my Wife laid down on the bed; shortly later felt pain and looked down to see blood on her leg and the bedding. We turned on all the lights and shined our flashlights to find that the entire room had clear broken glass on it. The bedding, the carpet, even the chairs. Housekeeping had broken a large lightbulb and it went everywhere. They clearly didn’t even bother to change the bedding or check to see if there was more glass, as we were able to find tons of it with a cursory search. We went back to the check in area and spoke to the lady (who was super sweet) and she called the manager. He sauntered up and said “something about a lightbulb?” I told him that my wife’s leg had been cut and showed him the glass everywhere. He couldn’t have cared less. Not only did he not offer any sort of comp, he didn’t even offer and apology! He just said “huh! Ok so you are gonna move them to a different room?” To the check in lady and walked away. I couldn’t believe it. Embarrassingly bad customer care for a manager.…
Unfortunately I was cut on glass IN OUR BED upon our arrival. The women that worked at check in were sweet and apologetic but the manager (an older man) was completely dismissive and did not care that I was literally bleeding. Housekeeping had broken a lightbulb and did not vacuum or check after. Not only was there glass in our bed but it was EVERYWHERE on the furniture, carpet, and even bathroom. We weren’t expecting much from the hotel due to the price and reviews but we did expect a clean safe room. The manager did not offer an apology let alone a comp or discount and we were very disappointed. We were dismissed and sent to a new room with a worse view of the lake. I couldn’t even imagine what might have happened if we brought our kids. Will not stay here again.
First time at this hotel in our 17 years of traveling to Lake George annually. Will absolutely be back! The staff was fantastic and the property beautiful. Our room was clean. My only complaint, though a tiny one, was our full size shower had a shower stall sized shower curtain. Otherwise everything was great! Looking forward to next year! Thumbs up!
See the pictures below of the tub that was full of dirt. When I told the owner he got very nasty and he told me to leave that he wanted me out of the motel. My niece was next-door to me and she had to leave and go over to the Marriott to stay but they gave her her money back but I couldn’t afford to go to the Marriott I had nowhere to go so I had to stay in this dirty room. The owner was so nasty he made me cry I told him I just lost my husband and he did not even care and he told me just get out of the motel and when I said I had nowhere to go he said I want you out. There was also a dead bug in my bed. I am 68 years old and I felt that that was a horrible way to be treated as a customer. I will never go back there ever ever ever again. It’s also a dump everything looks so old and shabby and dirty looking. In person the tub was dirtier than it looks in these pictures disgusting. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!…
