Loved this hotel. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Pauline at the desk was so great and helpful at check in. Majic gave us great tips for hiking and dinner. The room was perfect, the view even better ! Thank you for an amazing stay we can’t wait to go back soon!

We stayed at the property while on a quick trip to Lake George. The Inn is well located and appears nice from the outside but the inside needs some serious updating. I have to say that the room was roomy but the furnishings were old and very well worn. The mattress on the bed was average but it only had a sheet and a very thin and well used blanket and no comforter or bedspread. There weren’t any extra blankets and they did not have a hair dryer. Sadly there wasn’t a coffee maker either. I will look for different accommodations when I return again.

Dirty room-DON'T recommend, unkept tiny beach, risking public health during a pandemic. Basic room sanitation not up to standards for non pandemic times and during COVID this hotel is endangering the public. My room over looked the pool and not once did I see them sanitize the pool lounge chairs. The tiny beach is in poor shape, never raked (there are a lot of ducks that leave droppings.) They charge for using their beat up 2 person kayaks. I told the owners son Magic about the state of my room, they sent in the cleaning person (which I had to move all my stuff out of the bathroom and move my things so she could vacuum (an inconvenience and a worry to have someone in my room) unfortunately the tub, doors and tiles still weren't cleaned properly-the shower door and tiles had scum on them making it obvious it hadn't been cleaned in MONTHS. They spot clean to make it "appear" clean-GROSS! They don't clean the rooms while you're there during the pandemic stating they, "want to keep you safe", so there really isn't an excuse not to properly clean & sanitize the rooms for their guests. Upon checking out I requested compensation for the state of the bathroom and the fact that I HAD TO CLEAN MY ENTIRE ROOM MYSELF. I was brushed off and gave lame excuses and never called or given any sort of compensation. I hate to leave such a terrible review for a family owned small business, however when the business isn't doing the right thing and endangering people's health they need to be called out about it publicly. I don't believe many of these reviews to be made by actual paying guests staying at this hotel, unless the guests have an extreme distorted concept of cleanliness or maybe these people happen to be blind then maybe I'd believe these reviews. I will add I chose this Inn because of the cabins they offer. My cabin aside from being unsanitary was charming-not luxurious by any means but it was nice. I had a private patio with a Lake view, the bed was comfortable and the size was fine for 2 people. It is just a shame about all the rest as I would've had a decent stay at the Inn otherwise (my trip was a blast bc Lake George rocks.) The beach left a lot to be desired, but I wasn't there just for that so it worked out fine.

This was my first visit and it will be my last. We booked this specific hotel because they had availability with two rooms next to each other, there’s 7 of us. We double confirmed over the phone with their front desk that the rooms were definitely next to each other at which time we were assured they were. When we arrived and were assigning our room numbers they were not next to each other but in fact on separate floors. When trying to resolve the situation calmly the women behind the desk stated “I don’t know how to change it I’m new here” when we asked to speak to the manger we were told we would receive a call back by 2, when the room was ready and we could speak to her then. In the meantime she was going to see if she could move our rooms around with someone who has not yet checked in. Fast forward to, 3 o’clock we arrived back to the hotel since we did not revive a call to check on things. The managers husband makes it very clear there was nothing he could do and states his employee would have never stated such a thing when the computer says otherwise, and that they are advised not to promise room numbers. Be also stated that she would not have tried to move Anything around and didn’t state as such because the other room had already been “pre checked in”. He then proceeded to tell us he can either give us a refund or we can take our keys. In which we replied, “how are we suppose to get a refund when we don’t have another hotel to stay in”. It is now half pass three and we still have not gotten our keys.
