The room and the bath were oversized. Convenient to have the refrigerator and microwave. No other guests in the section where we stayed (yet still very expensive), so we enjoyed our breakfast at the tables out front. Downside is the toilet is low and front steps up the porch are tricky for folks with bad knees. The outside is very inviting and looks perfect for families.

I forgot the convenience of backing your car right up to your room to unload! Haven’t stayed at a motel in a long time, and really enjoyed the experience. This motel is just outside the main Lake George crowds and is super quiet, we basically crashed after 10 both nights and didn’t miss hearing doors slamming at all hours of the night like in resort hotels. It has a retro feel but all the bathrooms are updated with own thermostat. Yes, it’s not “modern” but I got awesome night sleep and enjoyed the quiet. Super clean bedding and comfortable. The pool area was also very clean. Play area for kiddos. Family owned and operated, I like supporting independent operators and try to avoid the corporate locations.

We got room 29, the smell was terrible and the room was completely outdated. The room was completely different than the pics. The manager Jennifer was rude and not at all customer friendly. We were misled by pics and ehen you arrive you really get a terrible room…for the price of approx 250 euro’s!!

I discovered this Motel while out for a walk. I asked to check out one of the rooms and was very happy with what I saw. My friend and I immediately checked out of the motel we were staying at for sanitary reasons and stayed at the Lynn Air. The rooms were clean the carpet was clean the bathrooms were clean the hotel staff was very accommodating the grounds were beautiful with landscaping and flowers and the pool was sparkling clean. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who wants to stay at Lake George it is off the beaten path nice and quiet and very safe.

The room was very clean, the staff was friendly, and they have a great heated pool. They also have a pretty cool outdoor set up with a playground and a pavilion with a bunch of activities. My family will definitely go back.

What a wonderful experience we had staying 2 nights at the the Lyn Aire Motel for our anniversary. Motel was beautifully decorated for the summer season. Check-in was a breeze and they acknowledged our special occasion with hospitality. The room was awesome. All of the staff were so polite and helpful during our stay, they really go the extra mile. Looking forward to our next stay - hopefully for longer next time :)

My wife and I had a very relaxing couple of days at the Lyn Aire. The place is boutique but is run with care and attention. The price point is beyond fair and the location is convenient and beautiful. Easy access to the bike lane and trails nearby. Thanks guys - see you next time!

As an engineer I work a stressful job. I spent this past weekend at the Lyn Aire and was able to completely decompress! Highly recommend visiting the lake which is only a few minutes away. There are also some local trails that are really worth seeing.

My family and I just got back from our annual vacation in Lake George. This year we stayed at the Lyn Aire Motel Resort located at 1872 Route 9. It is close to Magic Forest and right next to the bike path. It is centrally located between everything we enjoy about Lake George i.e. shopping, dining, the beach, amusements, etc. We hadn’t planned on staying at this motel, but I am glad that we did.

First off, we didn’t have reservations and we considered ourselves lucky to have found a place with a vacancy. We booked for Thursday and Friday.

We got a room right across from the pool on the first level. We did not hear any noise from the people above us, next to us or from the pool area. It had two double beds, a large television with HBO, a full bathroom and a refrigerator. The room was modern – no wood paneling here. It was nicely decorated and most importantly - clean. There was a patio set outside of our room on the porch. The grounds and landscaping were very well tended.

The pool (probably 20 ft. x 30 ft.) was immaculate. It is heated and has a slide. The patio furniture in the pool area looks new. The deck area is made out of flat pavers and therefore isn’t slippery when wet. There is also a 5-6 person Jacuzzi.

The lawn area is very spacious and has picnic tables and BBQs. There is a playground area, basketball court and a covered pavilion that houses a game room that includes: a ping pong table, foosball table, table hockey, arcade games, pinball and more picnic tables. My daughters couldn’t get enough of the playground and pool.

The pool area, pavilion and playground are well lit at night. People were still in the pool at 10:30 p.m., myself included. This is great considering most places close the pool area around 9:00 p.m.

The office has menus from area restaurants and a variety of brochures from places of interest in the area. They offer coffee, cookies and various pastries in the morning.

One of the owners, Eileen Kim, manages the front desk and is very friendly and helpful. She offered advice and informative answers to my many touristy questions. Check in is between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., but Eileen was kind enough to let us check in early so that we could enjoy a full day at Magic Forest with our kids. That was really helpful and appreciated.

If you are looking to stay at a family friendly place, be sure to check out the Lyn Aire. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying again in the future.
