Wanting to stay someplace romantic and upscale, we chose the Inn at Erlowest. The March weather was in our favor as it was 70 degrees when we arrived. Beautiful setting overlooking NYS's most spectacular lake. The Montcalm room where we stayed had a private balcony access. We enjoyed the Cheese platter and prosecco we ordered ahead of time on the balcony in the late afternoon sun. We decided to dine there and dinner was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was just enough and they have excellent coffee. It was a perfect anniversary get away.
Went for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The setting and hotel are beautiful, the staff is wonderful And really went out of their way, the breakfast and food at the restaurant for dinner are delicious! Magical stay!!!
My partner and I had THE BEST time overnight at the Inn. Our room was immaculate, the inn was socially distanced and as safe during COVID as possible, the property, location on the lake and interior were gorgeous. We purchased the romance package and it was well worth the expense to have such a fantastic dinner, room and breakfast. They even cleaned our car off in the morning! We loved the igloo dining with the sunset and the food was amazing. Such a gem for this area. The staff were so friendly and kind. It was nice that such a luxury stay was available for one night only; most places I’ve seen of their level require you stay a few nights. It allowed us to splurge a little without going bankrupt. Can’t recommend enough!!
My wife and I recently stayed here on a Thursday evening to enjoy their ' Igloo ' dinner package. The complete staff at the hotel and restaurant were excellent. Our room was beautiful and rich in the history of the property. Both dinner and the included breakfast were fabulous. Only suggestion is that you wear a light sweater for dinner, even in the heated igloo, this time of year. Would highly recommend to couples of all ages.
My fiancé and I had an awesome time on a night away here. The Erlowest is gorgeous, and secluded but not far from the village. Dinner and breakfast were both phenomenal, and the staff was great through and through (our server for dinner, Josh, was particularly great). The room was really cozy and romantic, the fireplace and whirlpool tub were a really cool touch. We did have a little trouble getting the TV to work, but we hardly needed that to enjoy our time. Overall, the Erlowest was an awesome find for our holiday getaway trip; can’t wait to get back there someday!
