We stayed for two nights here and it was great. Much less crowded than lake George so easy to social distance. The beach is small but clean water and enough space to spread out. Bring your bikes if you have them. We stayed in a cabin and it was nice and clean and had everything we needed. It is small like a tiny house but you spend so much time outside and have enough outdoor space that it is fine. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for families looking for a getaway.

We just left this campground today after spending a week there. Nice place with a lot of trails ,store was clean and well stocked. I was not crazy over our site especially by Thursday as we were all crammed in with a lot of people there on the weekend. I would like to say that the Halloween walk last night was cute and a lot of work went into it. I would also like to acknowledge one of the workers there who was extremely helpful and sweet . Beth Anne Robbins answered all of our questions and was very informative in telling us of the activities that were taking place this week. Wasn't happy with the pool arrangements but hopefully it will be better by next year. Bathrooms need attention too!

We went up this past weekend for our first trip ever to Lake George and finding this place was a home run! We were so happy with our cabin and all the amenities! It was easy to get back and forth from all the areas along the Lake that we visited like Boltan Landing and Lake George Village. I gave full ratings for everything except cleanliness...let me explain. The grounds are well kept! All of the amenities are clean! You will not find 1 piece of trash on the floor I promise. The cabin was immaculate....except the floor. I don't know what happened, but the floor was filthy upon our arrival. Which makes zero sense to me because the rest of the cabin was CLEAN like sparking clean! I don't know what happened, maybe they forgot to clean it when they turned over the room. There had to have been some minor mess up on the cleaning service it just doesnt make any sense, everything else was sooo clean! Let me tell you though that dirt on the floor was worth the fun and memories we made as a family! Next time I'll pack my swiffer just in case! We are already so excited for the next time we get to go back to Lake George and to stay at Escape Campground =]

Rented a cabin, it was dirty and there were dirty linens everywhere, during a PANDEMIC! We had checked in 2 hours after normal check in time, there was no excuse. We had no hot water, had to go back to the lodge and report it, only to have them say, "We do have free showers!" We paid $800 for the weekend so we could have our own private bathroom. It was just a switch. The switch kept shutting off, so we would have to wait for the water to heat up. Stood in line for pool time and tubing time. We did get an hour of pool time but waited an hour in line for tubing, only to be told they had no more time slots. At check out, asked about seasonal sites and their prices for a camper, only to be told they couldn't talk to me then because they were swamped. There was 1 person behind me. The lady was rude, very mouthy. This place use to be wonderful until it was taken over, now I think they are getting to big for there own good.

Rented a cabin that sleeps 6, pet friendly. It was nicely equipped with kitchen essentials. We have an 11 month old with a pack and play and there really is no room for one. It blocked access to the bathroom at night, as it was the only place to put it. No room in the bedroom or loft for it. The air conditioner needs a through cleaning otherwise, everything was great!
