Since the reviewers at TripAdvisor keep asking me to tone down my honest, factual review of this mold infected hole....I'll keep it simple: If you like sucking in mold, this is the place for you. If you enjoy lousy service from rude staffers, this place is for you. I suggest reading all of the reviews about this place. There's a... More

Although the grounds are pretty, this place is old, the rooms are dirty, the carpets probably have not been replaced in 50 years, and it is moldy. The in-wall air conditioning units are so full of dust and dirt that I woke up every morning unable to breathe. The TVs are from the 1960s. And, the food makes McDonald's seem... More

This place is filthy! $175.00 a night to have spiders in tub, ticks in your bed, dog hair in your sheets, garbage on the floor and furnishings from 1960. The smell of mold was so overpowering, its a health hazzard. Why this place has not been shut down, is beyond me. Stay away.

Arrive to a driveway full of potholes check-in process was okay. Arrived at our room to see ramshackle rotted-out steps. This place looks like it hasn't been maintained in years. Open door to the room by the way the lock didn't work to a horrible moldy smell it was 85 degrees out neither air conditioner was on the screen was... More

A cheap place to stay. $150/ish a night on the weekend. The grounds are very well maintained and I loved the bar by the pool very nice. Yes, it could use a modern day upgrade to the rooms. It kind of reminded me of staying at a camp-style hotel. The biggest issue I had was I generally prefer a bit... More

It's easy to see that this place was once a great family resort. But today it's sadly outdated and poorly kept. As soon as we arrived we could tell from the bumpy drive that there were problems. Entering our room was even worse. The room smelled really musty and unused. The carpet was damp. The sink faucet was broken and... More

Avoid the potholes driving up to this place, don't look at the wallpaper falling off the walls and ignore the dirty ceiling. Has a new rug though, I guess that's what they meant by newly renovated. No refrigerator, no alarm clock or hairdryer. Paint is peeling off the doors to some rooms. Would not recommend. Spend your $150 a night... More

We booked this place last minute as we had leave the nightmare of Legends Inn. This pace was descent, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. It was nice and quiet and only a four minute drive to lake George village. The decor was old and could use a much needed update. The pool area was nice and... More

I have been in all kinds of hotels, from the Ritz in Paris to a Super 8 along an Interstate. Roaring Ranch is now my favorite economically priced place to stay in the region. It is huge, with tennis courts, swimming pools, horseback riding (my granddaughter was thrilled with her ride) but yet it does not seem huge, with nicely... More
