Our site was so level and spacious for our 40' motorhome. The pools and Cascade Cove work so warm and fun. At night the live entertainment at the French Mountain Play House was great fun. Bingo was also a fun event. Ice Cream at the café was delicious. We had a great time here.
This campground was a great surprise. This was a vacation with my husband and 18 year old twin boys before they went off to college. The amenities were plentiful and the grounds beautiful. Bingo was fun. We enjoyed the variety shows, especially the ventriloquist. The boys liked going to the movies. There was so much to do here. We were not loving our site 248 as it was in a gully and across from the bath house. It was a good thing that it didn't rain as it would have been muddy. We would get a whiff every now from the bath house and then plus other campers were cutting through our site to get to the bath house. We would also have preferred a site farther away from the main highway as it was noisy at times. We enjoyed playing pickleball, bocce ball, basketball, kickball, wide fields for the boys to toss the football. The pools and splash pad were very refreshing. The campground is beautifully maintained with awesome flower pots.…
This was our first time staying at Lake George RV and it did not disappoint. We have tried almost every campground in the Lake George area and this is definitely one that may be our new go to. We camped with friends who had a tent on our site and although not the biggest sites in the area, definitely felt like we had enough room. The pool and splash pad area is great, and there is so much to do at the resort we felt like we didn't have to leave. We loved the trail that takes you straight to the outlets, as we didn't have to worry about the traffic and driving on the busy weekend. And the Trolley is a plus! Although download the Lake George rv app so that you know trolley times and stops. Very friendly staff in the office as well. We cooked most of our meals at the campsite but we did eat at the cafe at the pool one day. Prices are what you expect but the food is good. We will be back.…
Great park with lots to do. Sites are good especially if you're traveling in a group. Nice store that offers a lot, and the staff are great. My only complaint would be that the water slide does not have a staff member overseeing it. There were way too big/old kids using it, kids not waiting for other kids to get out of the way at the bottom and there were a few times kids stopped themselves in the middle of the slide and others going down would pile up in the tube creating a log jam. Because smaller kids can't see over the side to see that no one came out of the bottom created a dangerous situation. After that happened I just kept my kids away from it. This won't stop me from camping here again we really did enjoy our stay.
We stayed 4 nights in mid July. We have a 35' travel trailer. It was my wife, 3 year old son, 5 year old daughter and I who stayed. We had a nice pull through sight with partial shade. Campground and facilities were very clean. Staff was super friendly. Store is well stocked and not outrageously prices. Pool area is excellent! Pools are actually heated to a reasonable temperature. Splash pad is great for kids 3-12. Evening entertainment was good and reptile show was also very good. This campground is expensive but you definitely get your money's worth. Close to LGV, Great Escape and outlet shopping. Many places say they are camping resorts but don't deliver. This place is the real deal!
My Family and I really love this place. It is clean and has a lot of amenities. I would have given this place 5 stars but now they are collecting a $25 fee if you have or rent a golf cart. The park does not rent golf carts but people rent from an outside company. It just seems now the park wants a cut of the carts which is tacky. It is a pricey campsite to begin with and now they are hitting families for more money.
This park is very family oriented and user friendly. There is a trolley that makes numerous stops throughout the park to get you from the upper to the lower portion. The splash pad and pool, cafe and areas were always busy. I think it would be better for some kind of supervision to be present tho as not all parents were watching their kids. The pool above hill was quieter but thoroughly enjoy too. The hot tub was great. Whole are was clean. Bingo was fun, and 2 movies offered every night. The entertainment was very good also. Office help was friendly. The sites had ample electric, we were there on some hot days and never had problems with dipping voltage. My only suggestion would be to have more gravel on them. Ours was sparse and had some mud spots, but it was certainly a long enough pull thru.…
We had such a wonderful time at this park! The sites were a nice size, everything was very clean and enjoyable and there are TONS of things to do at the park and it’s FAR more reasonably priced than Moose Hillock! We HIGHLY recommend it!!
This is by far one of our favorite campgrounds now. Lots of things to do within the grounds and off. Is close to Lake George, and has trolley service to and from there. This is huge when your tow vehicle is almost 21' long and a dually. Stayed for 5 days and wish it could have been more. Can't wait to be able to make our reservations for next year with more family members.
This is a very nice campground, very well maintained. The pools and splash pad are great! However, extremely small campsites for any price per night let alone $150.00. We had to ask to be moved after the first night and there was no problem accommodating us (we were moved to site 7.) it was a great location in the park. But again the sites are just too close together! Another camper came to site 6 and literally could not open his slide outs and awning or he would have hit the camper on the other side of him. Needless to say he had to go down and ask to be moved. For the price the sites should be larger and sites should be able to be requested by campers ahead of time!
