The front desk staff was overall very friendly. I was informed that this hotel was under renovation but I saw no evidence of it. A chair in my room was broken, there was no iron to go with the ironing board, and I requested was coffee pot. The chair was taken care of immediately, but housekeeping stated they had not...

Stayed here while visiting Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk area in Fall 2016 for a few days. The only good thing is its location - close to the state parks. Expansive grounds but not very well maintained. Property is past its prime and probably saw better days a few decades ago. The rooms were dated, old mattresses, dirty carpets, moldy...

Nice staff , old world charm of 1950's. Wi fi worked in rooms . Came on a flakey Jake Passover event. The caterer was lacking , the tilapia looked like it came from the murky lake behind the hotel, the London broil was rubberized, almost broke my teeth over it, and although they advertised prime rib pieces it was a...

The service was great, the room was average wear and tear. The housekeeping kept the room clean daily. When they give you a price for the room and meals, read the fine print. The food cost extra, add $15 for breakfast, $25 for the lunch and $35 for the dinner meal. It cost me as much for the meals for...

My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway where we could get massages and relax. We have previously booked another Spa, but they told us that they were expecting a very large group of teenagers that weekend and it would not be relaxing. We then decided to call here and see if we can get massages booked. The...

Just stayed the weekend with the Mrs. and my son at the former Granit, now the Hudson Valley Resort in Kerhonkson in Ulster County and enjoyed every minute. It is a magnificent older edifice and has a large beautiful lobby. The hotel staff was superb--always friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed the large indoor swimming pool as I am a...

The food was also, well prepared and presented. This hotel cater for big groups and would serve food at one of the ballrooms but if you come alone you can utilize the small...

First, the roped off area in the middle of the enormous lobby with trash cans and buckets obviously collecting water from the leaking roof was not what we expected at nearly $200/night. Second, NO RESTAURANT?!? The hotel is 30 minutes from New Paltz and the only close food is a pizza joint. I would have expected a "resort and spa"...
