We stayed 3 nights at Rudding Park. We were a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 7 and 11. Arrived at the hotel with 4 smiling staff greeting us even before we entered the hotel. Super friendly and efficient check in and whisked in no time to our room. A lovely room beautifully furnished. Kids had a bunk bed room which they loved. Parents room was a nice size - plenty of space and the bathroom was lovely with a walk in shower and bath. We had a small outside area as well facing the spa. We were on a dinner bed and breakfast package. Food was excellent. Service in the restaurants was a bit hit and miss. Looked like lots of new experienced staff there but given it was only 2 weeks since reopening that was understandable and everyone was friendly. Everything on the menu was great but a bit more choice would have been good as after 3 nights we were running short of options. The main draw at the hotel is the spa and it’s really impressive. There is a lovely pool area on the ground floor with an outside terrace for sunbathing and it’s a lovely area. As the kids couldn’t use the rooftop spa we spent most of our time down here. The rooftop spa is also great with lots of different sauna, steam rooms, hot pools, foot massage among others. Lots of places to hang out. Can understand why it’s won so many awards. Only issue was it was absolutely packed. It was a bank holiday weekend so perhaps to be expected but I think would be better to have a few less people there capacity wise to give those there a bit more space in the spa. The only other piece of feedback is that for families I think it would be great if there were a few more options of things to do for the kids. Time at the downstairs pool was just limited to a short morning and evening slot for the kids and there are no other kids facilities there. Just some outdoor games space with some sports or other play equipment would be great and one more time slot for kids (especially as the downstairs pool seemed empty at some times of the day). Service generally at the hotel was fantastic. The front desk manager took the time to ask how we were every time we passed by and everyone was friendly. The hotel is an excellent base for exploring the Yorkshire dales. Overall, we had a fantastic time there. A lovely hotel. We left relaxed, well fed and having felt really well looked after.

Absolutely amazing stay at Rudding Park, Marek and his team went above and beyond to make our stay so special and more importantly the proposal. Marek helped me plan the proposal to perfection, in the day we enjoyed the rooftop spa, we then when back to the amazing suite to get ready. Before dinner Marek and his team dressed our table with rose petals and candles and served us champagne on arrival. He then played our favourite song which led to the proposal (all captured on video perfectly by Marek) Dinner was amazing and when we finally got back to our room it had been dressed with rose petals and balloons! The hotel is stunning but what made it so special was the staff, firstly Marek who stayed after his shift to be there for the proposal and also everyone who was working on the day and at breakfast the next morning (where the celebrations continued). We had visits from all the staff to congratulate us. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to return each year to mark our special day. Luca and Bea x

I cannot thank Rudding Park enough for the most incredible experience they provided for us. The staff were nothing but helpful, the rooms were beautiful and the food was delicious! The guest relations team were fantastic at supporting a really special event for us and could not have provided more assistance and support. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We have stayed a couple of nights since the end of the last lockdown and previous to that would always enjoy a recharge there but the last twice the management & staff have gone above and beyond to ensure you are looked after every second of your stay. The service, the food, the rooms, the spa, everything was absolutely perfect on both occasions and we left feeling as though we had had a holiday! We ate in the Horto and The Clocktower, both delicious meals. Thank to you all, we can't wait to return.

Just had a three night break at Rudding Park with my husband. We had a beautiful Follifoot Wing suite with access to lovely gardens. The room was perfect with everything you would expect. Our welcome at the hotel was exceptional. Charming young staff front of house who absolutely couldn’t do enough for us. Extremely welcoming, charming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate in both Horto and Clocktower restaurants and the food was very good with a reasonable choice of wines. We used the spa both days and had treatments and it was great, again lots of lovely young staff working hard to make sure everyone was happy with drinks, towels etc. Loved the hotel grounds, really pretty gardens and lots of quiet areas. The hotel has a nice vibe to it and without exception every member of staff goes out of their way to speak to the guests - excellent. We left feeling like we were valued guests. Only one slight criticism is the outside area at Clocktower. I think there should be a dedicated member of staff to people eating/drinking outside as sometimes they are forgotten when the inside area is busy. We waited 20 mins for a drink and had to go and find someone to serve us. Similarly we went one night for a nightcap and left without one as couldn’t get served. I appreciate there are busy times and it wouldn’t put us off returning because generally it was all superb. Thanks for a great stay.
