One of the finest properties we have ever stayed at, if not THE best - and our standards are high. Quick, efficient check-in by Amber. Large, bright lobby. 2 speedy elevators. Spotlessly clean room, everything in good working order. Quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Great view from room. During our 2 night stay we ate 4 meals at Pearl City Hops restaurant, located inside the hotel: 2 breakfast buffets, a discounted up charge on the price of the room and worth every cent, and 2 dinners. We particularly appreciated not having to leave the hotel for meals when it was raining out. We came to Jamestown to visit the Lucy and Desi Museum and National Comedy Center, both walking distance from the hotel. Be aware: unknown to us before we arrived, both attractions are CLOSED on Tuesday and Wednesday after Labor Day. We planned our visit months in advance and were unaware of their schedule change. We were left scrambling to figure out what to do next - we planned to continue our travels after Jamestown and had reservations a few hours away. We decided we would return to Jamestown later in the week to visit the museums, and Amber helped us make an additional reservation. Unfortunately I became very ill during our journey and we had to end our travel plans and return home. Sarah graciously helped cancel our reservation over the telephone. Amber, Sarah and Julia, who checked us out, were all professional, knowledgeable, friendly and delightful, and a pleasure to meet. We plan to return to Jamestown to visit both museums and look forward to staying here again, and we will certainly not hesitate to book stays at DoubleTree properties in other cities when we travel.

Lovely Hotel. Best hotel pool. Ever! PERFECT temperature inside the room and inside the pool. Only wish there had been more towels. AMAZING pool hours. 6am-11pm. GREAT for kids! A smooth pool bottom so no stubbed toes. No hot tub, but no problem. No complimentary breakfast, but a buffet for $15 a person. With a family of 5, we did not eat at the hotel. The coffee in the room was delicious! HUGE, THICK towels. Nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash pumps on the shower wall. LOVELY pillows, soft beds and a nice cool temperature upon entering. VERY limited parking, but free street parking and free parking garage parking on the weekends. VERY SKETCHY tunnel that connects the parking garage to the hotel. Cobwebs, spiders, broken up concrete and a very weird smell. The parking situation is not enough to keep us away. If ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here!

Outstanding hotel. Immaculate, tasteful, spacious. Nice to be able to have dinner in the hotel after a long day of travel. It is worth it to pay 15$ for breakfast as it has choices and quality that you don’t find in the average hotel free breakfast. Wonderful ambience. And Jamestown is a pleasant town.

Excellent hotel, very clean. Close parking. We were on the 7th floor but wait for elevator wasn’t long at all. Nice quaint town, not far out of Niagara / Buffalo area for a much more reasonable price. Lots of great places to eat, in addition to excellent hotel restaurant. Definitely will be back again.

Friendly, well appointed, they got it all right. The room was nice, clean and had everything needed, including plenty of USB plugs easily accessible. I ate here for dinner and breakfast. Both times the service was excellent. I was surprised to get great service at a breakfast buffet, but the server was quite attentive.

Super easy and welcoming stay and safe for solo — they helped me park right out front and directed me across the street for a late dinner. Cookies to go in the am! They were all really nice and helpful, and beds were comfy and room was clean. Nice job, Jamestown crew!

The hotel is very easy to find and close to attractions like the Lucille Ball museum and Comedy Museum. We found the hotel to be very clean and quiet with the exception of the traffic noise at night. We were in room 323 and it looks out onto the Main Street, so very noisy The pool area and gym were extremely clean. There are two restaurants and we had checked in on a Sunday and one of them closed at 4pm. The other one was a bar and restaurant- very bright and clean and the food was good. We had breakfast which if you paid extra at the time of your booking was included , otherwise it was $15 each. I honestly can’t remember how much extra we paid with the booking. We were the only ones in the restaurant for breakfast and again it was very clean and had a good selection. Tina was our Server and she was lovely! All in all I would recommend this hotel, just make sure you aren’t on the street side.

Text of an email sent to the General Manager of the Hotel I was given your contact information by the Front Desk Clerk at DoubleTree Jamestown. after I asked if there was a Manager on Duty I could speak with either tonight or tomorrow. I guess there is never a manager here which may explain how poorly the hotel is run. I am a Hilton Diamond member (842667299). My wife and I checked in to the Jamestown DoubleTree yesterday. Here is how it's gone: -I was not recognized as a Diamond Member upon check-in -I was not offered the usual two bottles of water upon check-in -I was not offered a cookie (a DoubleTree perk I believe) -I had to explain to the check-in clerk I should receive the upgraded Wi-Fi which she reluctantly gave. -I asked for daily housekeeping and was assured it was set. This is the second day and it was not done. -We went to Breakfast this morning. The only offering was the Buffet Breakfast. As I went through the line I had to go through 7 plates to find two clean ones. We choose the scrambled eggs and bacon. I saw the attendant replenish the eggs just before I got there. And also the bacon. The eggs were a mixture of lukewarm and ice cold. I assume the lukewarm were what I saw being added and the ice cold what was already there. The fresh bacon was at best at room temperature. I would hazard a guess everything was cold although I did not sample them. When the bill arrived the waitress asked how things were. After I told her she said we need not pay. -The safe in the room will not lock. The door to room requires you put your shoulder to it to open. I will of course fill out the Hilton Survey with all this and also post it on Tripadvisor. Maybe you might re-think not having a Manager on-site.
