This is a great layover hotel. I saw airline crew to be going there. They have good breakfast, gym, coffee station, free airport shuttle. However, if you would like to visit the NYC, you need to take public bus, or ride Uber to the nearest metro. They do have a free shuttle to Federal Circle (every hour), but that location is not connected to the metro.

The staff at this hotel was incredibly helpful in a really crazy time with the COVID virus. They were flexible and accommodating to our groups changing needs. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Well worth the stay!

The room was big and clean the bed was comfortable breakfast was pretty good only downside was someone knocked on my door at 11:30 asking why I hadn’t checked out yet even tho it says everywhere check out is 12 (even in my booking email) I would stay here again

Checked in last minute late at night due to an unexpected layover. Check in via the app did not work as they were overbooked. Room for 4 only came with 2 towels, but overall the hotel met the need. Didn’t really have a lot of options and would’ve researched more if I had the time and energy but after a long haul international flight I didn’t really care.

I really like Hampton Inns and am an elite member. I really don’t like writing negative reviews, but this Hampton Inn dropped the ball for us. We were given a room that appeared to be very nice, but the first thing I noticed when I went to wash my hands was that the sink was draining poorly. My husband went to use the toilet, and it would not flush at all. They sent somebody up to fix it, but by this time we had already asked for another room and left the maintenance guy to work on the toilet. The next room that they put us in was exactly like the room we were in before, except the toilet flushed and the sink drained. The only problem we noted in this room was that the heating system door was not totally secured. It was loose. To its credit, the hotel has a very nice gym, which we used. The breakfast was very good with hot eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, and waffles. The only thing that might have been added for kids would’ve been cereal and milk. The room had a nice big TV with a good selection of channels. We rode on the airport shuttle, which was very convenient. The only thing keeping me from giving this hotel a better rating was our initial experience. The management here needs to ensure that all rooms are well-maintained for customers’ comfort.
