Girlfriend and I went on a long weekend here and really enjoyed this place. The bar outside is awesome and winterized but if you’re staying at the inn, you can get drinks and sit inside on the first floor which was really awesome, relaxing and intimate. Place is gorgeous. I definitely read about the noise complaints prior and booked room 202. There was no noise from the bar outside but we did hear our neighbors walking and water running. Not a huge deal for us but somebody who’s a light sleep might be upset. Very walkable area! Would suggest planning to park and leaving your car cause the lot is very small. If you’re planning to come and go a bunch at night, you might be annoyed to come back and find no spots in their lot. We had a blast. Would love to stay again in the summer :) …
Wow, what a gem. Fun place to stay, so much attention to detail, reuse of materials to make very cool and comfortable outdoor cabanas. The outside is as beautiful as the inside. The staff was very accommodating and available, even in contactless checkin and COVID regulations. Thanks all. One recommendation, better pillows please. They were large and chunky. I love soft and fluffy down. Just saying,..
We stayed for 3 nights. Beautiful room- newly renovated bathroom, fireplace. The outdoor bar is absolutely magical with the fire pits and lights. Impressed with the inn’s commitment to safety during Covid. Highly recommend!! We don’t get to Ithaca often but hope to stay here again.
I love this place and everything is wonderful. The staff are friendly and always offered to help. The only thing is that when we just entered the inn I didn't actually recognize who i can turn to for checking in since they didn't have uniforms or name tags. (But soon a lady came to me and asked if i wanted to. check in and she could help. )
We just returned from a long weekend at the Argos Inn, and I miss ever second of our stay. The Inn itself was beautiful, a nice mixture of old decor and updated amenities. Our room, the Central Queen, was small but the bed was snug and cozy for the cold nights we had. We also appreciated the plethora of streaming options, even if the live TV option wasn't signed in (we had more than plenty other options that we didn't bother asking for the log in). The only downside to our particular room was that even without people hanging inside due to COVID-19, we could hear people constantly entering/exiting the front door, so next time I'd probably choose one of the rooms farther away from the front door. There was a noise warning on the room when I booked, but since it was more related to the room being above the social areas, I thought that it wouldn't matter much during COVID times. While this wasn't our first hotel experience during the pandemic, it was our first extended stay at one. I felt completely safe with all of the precautions in place and appreciated their efforts to expand their beautiful outdoor bar, while also accommodating overnight hotel guests and allowing us to have our cocktails inside since there was quite a wait list for the outdoor space. Also the cocktails from the bar were phenomenal! I loved every second of our stay, and absolutely cannot wait to go back (hopefully in "normal" times so we can experience it as it was meant to be). From this special visit, Argos Inn has been added to our list of favorite hotels.…
