The hotel was excellent. The room was excellent, bathroom was excellent. I will stay at this hotel each time I visit Ithaca. I was very impressed. I had breakfast at the hotel and the food was great and very clean.

The hotel is in a terrible state of repair. Entrance doors missing and others that cannot be closed making the hotel very unsafe. There has been no maintenance on this building for years. Carpets are stained and torn. At least my ac worked which a business friend did not have and her TV did not work.

Terrible place and it is over charged. I booked at at the last minute without reading the other reviews. I really wish I did. Place looks torn out from outside and has a poor or no maintenance. carpets stinks and I think have mold. Parking lot is full of potholes. There are many back side doors without lock so any... More

I never write reviews but this was by far the worst, most disgusting hotel I've ever been in. Run. Camping is cleaner. Pubes in shower, half empty beer bottle in the fridge, dirty washcloth, extremely dimly lit, broken up parking lot. It may have been purely psychological but I constantly felt like there were bugs on me. Whatever you may... More

Expensive and shabby. I just came from the W French Quarter, a luxury hotel in a prime location in New Orleans with impeccable service, fantastic food, and ultra-hip decor. For exactly the same price, I got a room at the Ithaca Hotel, with terrible bedding, lumpy pillows, mildewed bathrooms and sticky carpets. My room smelled bad and the on site... More

First this was probably a very nice hotel.... Many years ago. Today this place needs a lot of renovations. We arrived in the evening and no one was at the desk.... We waited over ten minutes for anyone to greet us. Staff that finally came was nice and friendly. The hotel felt very deserted. We drive to the side of... More

This is certifiably the worst hotel we have seen. We hesitantly checked in...lobby had a musty odor (desk clerk was friendly)...doesn't look like a hotel...more like a hockey arena...very stark and desolate looking exterior...the main sign (when we found it) had cracks and holes throughout. Elevator jerked and bounced. Doors to other rooms were open...finally found our two rooms...water spouted... More

Yes, it is true that the Trip Hotel is in need of renovations, but the young staff is eager to please and right any wrongs. The room was fine, comfy beds, good shower. Air conditioning unit too loud for me but it did the job keeping the room at a good temperature. The continental breakfast included yogurt, bagels to toast,... More

The experience to this hotel was so sweet. We went to Cornell university to attend graduation event over weekend. Surprisingly we got a teddy bear as a gift to Cornell graduating students in our room. The room is clean and well organized.

Ugh. Waste paper in the elevator that didn't get cleaned for hours, poorly maintained cloudy cold pool, luggage carts with broken wheels, and my personal favorite - cold water showers - twice. Yes, the hotel is 'under maintenance,' but even the 'renovated' areas are falling apart. Elevator had hand-painted floor numbers and broken buttons. Pool maintenance schedule I looked hadn't...
