We LOVED The Stones Throw B & B. To y and Gina were sure gracious hosts, the food was amazing and the house was beautiful. We will return for sure. We will also recommend this B & B to our family and friends.
A memorable girl’s trip made possible by Tony and Gina’s beautiful bed and breakfast (the best!) . We felt welcomed the moment we arrived. The rooms are comfortable, the home and property are cared for with love and the porch is the perfect place to sit and unwind. Can’t wait to visit again.
I highly recommend a stay at the Stone’s Throw B&B. The huge wrap around porch is a great place to have breakfast, or to simply relax and survey the charming landscape. The rooms are lovely, and much bigger than they appear in photographs. Gina and Tony, the proprietors, are friendly, helpful and funny. Gina is a great conversationalist with a wealth of knowledge about the area, and provides excellent recommendations. Tony, a gourmet cook, provides a delicious multi-course breakfast to fortify you for your adventures. Centrally located between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes, this B&B is a short drive to wineries, boat tours, and spectacular scenic hikes. I look forward to a return visit.
From the homey porch and lush landscaping to the beautifully decorated interior a Stone's Throw B&B is a treat. Tony and Gina provide every amenity desired including air conditioning in the room and gourmet chocolate on the desk. The home made breakfast is a culinary feast. Tony even shared his recipe of "stuffed French toast" with us. The place is conveniently located near many wineries. Gina shared excellent advice on nearby restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend staying here as you will not be disappointed. C from NH
To start, Gina and Tony are the warmest hosts! This is our second visit and it was as superb as our first visit over 10 years ago. The breakfast's made by Chef Tony are 5 stars. He puts so much care and love into each course. His are the best we ever had and we have stayed at so many B & B inns over the years. Gina makes the baked goods from scratch and they are excellent! Between them both they make such lovely hosts that care about your experience. The organic toiletries and thick towels are very nice. They have a comprehensive guide to the area in your room and on their website which points out the best things to do. Gina's beautiful landscaped yard is gorgeous! Flowers and cozy places to sit everywhere. They really hit all the things that make a B & B what it should be!
We really loved our stay at A STONES THROW. The food cooked by Tony was delicious. And Gina’s muffins were to die for! Breakfast was served on the porch every morning. The other guests were friendly. Best B&B we’ve been to.
We recently stayed at A Stone's Throw Bed and Breakfast for a long weekend with friends to celebrate our 30th anniversaries. Tony and Gina made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped onto their beautiful wrap around porch. Tony's breakfasts were amazing, and the rooms were nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning soon!
My girlfriend and I just completed a 4 night stay stayed at a Stone' s Throw. It was our 3rd time staying with Gina and Tony and as always we had a wonderful time. First of all, the location. The B&B is situated between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes and is approximately the same distance from Ithaca and Watkins Glen as it is from Seneca Falls and Geneva. It is convenient to numerous state parks, wineries, and other tourist attractions, making it the perfect home base. Our room,, as usual, was La Buon Amore, a beautiful well appointed room on the southwest corner of the house. The bed is extremely comfortable, the attached bathroom spacious, and the furnishings attractive. The outside of the house is beautifully maintained, with a gorgeous wrap-around porch where we ate breakfast 2 mornings and enjoyed a glass of wine during the evenings. The breakfasts were superb - 3 courses with ingredients sourced from local farms and presented beautifully. Five star cuisine. Tony, who is a master chef, was not available to cook for us this time but Gina's sister Jackie did a wonderful job in his absence. All these items in total make this a great place to stay. However, what really makes this B&B shine are Gina and Tony (and this time Jackie). Many B&B's are beautiful and the hosts do a nice job of taking care of your needs. But interaction is lacking. Gina and Tony are different. They love to sit and talk with you - find out about your day, discuss current events, wherever the conversation goes. Their warmth and kindness are genuine - they make their home feel like your home. You just feel comfortable staying there. A few other things. Gina and Jackie went out of their way to make sure all COVID protocols were followed - evident in the way the room was prepared, how meals were served. We had no concerns. This visit was suppose to occur in early June but was re-scheduled multiple times due to interstate travel restrictions resulting from COVID and New York's ever changing State quarantine list. Gina and Tony went out of their way to work with us on scheduling to make this trip happen. Just speaks to the kind of people they are. We are already looking forward to our visit next year.…
A wonderful, relaxing weekend get-a-way to unwind and destress! The 3 course breakfasts were simply amazing, the room was clean, well appointed, and Covid compliant. I highly recommend A Stone's Throw. You will not be disappointed!
Tony & Gina are the perfect host. The highlight was having Tony's gourmet breakfast on the wrap around porch. Tony's love is cooking so every little detail was put into his breakfast creation. It was the perfect way to start the day. All in all just a perfect spot to start a long bike ride, relax, and enjoy the area.
