My husband & I spent 4 days at "A Stone's Throw Bed & Breakfast" in July. On arriving, we were impressed by the well tended gardens and the stately main building. We were greeted by our host, Tony< who gave us a quick tour. The guest rooms are spacious and have all of the amenities you could want. These included a quality air conditioner, flat screen TV, and a small refrigerator/freezer. The bed and chairs were comfortable. The kitchen and common area are spacious and well furnished.

The service was excellent! Tony & Gina have implemented a simple system to guarantee that their guests have fresh towels and other necessities. The breakfasts were all well prepared and made from organic and local ingredients when possible. Even the coffee was good.

The facility is convenient to many of the wineries that populate the area, should you wish, fairly close to Ithaca. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and intend to return.

Highly recommended!

I highly recommend a stay at the Stone’s Throw B&B. The huge wrap around porch is a great place to have breakfast, or to simply relax and survey the charming landscape. The rooms are lovely, and much bigger than they appear in photographs. Gina and Tony, the proprietors, are friendly, helpful and funny. Gina is a great conversationalist with a wealth of knowledge about the area, and provides excellent recommendations. Tony, a gourmet cook, provides a delicious multi-course breakfast to fortify you for your adventures. Centrally located between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes, this B&B is a short drive to wineries, boat tours, and spectacular scenic hikes. I look forward to a return visit.

From the homey porch and lush landscaping to the beautifully decorated interior a Stone's Throw B&B is a treat. Tony and Gina provide every amenity desired including air conditioning in the room and gourmet chocolate on the desk. The home made breakfast is a culinary feast. Tony even shared his recipe of "stuffed French toast" with us. The place is conveniently located near many wineries. Gina shared excellent advice on nearby restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend staying here as you will not be disappointed.

Thank you for your generous review...it is greatly appreciated. We are happy you had a "delicious experience":) with us, in addition to your other travels in the bountiful Finger Lakes. Being apple season, try stuffing the french toast with sauteed apples ( in butter) and cinnamon - you can even top with chopped walnuts. Now that's a yummy seasonal favorite. Stay well!

Gina and Tony went way beyond what we have experienced in a B& B in 30 years of travel! The breakfasts were amazing and 5 star by a very wonderful chef. The comfort details of the room and the place were perfect and also eco conscious from the daily biscotti, the fridge, the filtered water and the personal care products. The location, was a few miles from 2 lakes and not far from many attractions. They gave us their personal recommendations and in all ways made us feel at home. They also went the extra mile by helping us find the services to replace our damaged tire and to invited us to go along with them to dinner! It felt more like staying with friends. Thank you so much.

To start, Gina and Tony are the warmest hosts! This is our second visit and it was as superb as our first visit over 10 years ago. The breakfast's made by Chef Tony are 5 stars. He puts so much care and love into each course. His are the best we ever had and we have stayed at so many B & B inns over the years. Gina makes the baked goods from scratch and they are excellent! Between them both they make such lovely hosts that care about your experience. The organic toiletries and thick towels are very nice. They have a comprehensive guide to the area in your room and on their website which points out the best things to do. Gina's beautiful landscaped yard is gorgeous! Flowers and cozy places to sit everywhere. They really hit all the things that make a B & B what it should be!

A Stones Throw is nestled in Seneca County between the Lake and the bountiful fresh air of the country side that we found ourselves exploring for three days. We couldn't see it all. And at the end of a long day of sight seeing and wine tasting, it was just like coming home and reflecting on a grand day.
Each morning was greeted with fresh fabulous coffee, Gina's home made biscotti, and Tony's personally prepared gourmet breakfast. We couldn't wait to see what the next days morning dining experience was going to offer. These folks have truly dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's !!!!!

5 plus rating! I will be going back next June. This beautifully appointed inn from the 1800's could not have been sweeter. You can tell the love that was put into this inn. I went with my husband and my 93 year old mother. My mother's room had a ramp that went from the parking lot into her room. It was spacious and had everything one would need or want. The attention they showed my mom felt like they were family. They were so kind and attentive. My room was lovely and also had all the amenities we needed. But actually the best part was the breakfast. I have been to many B&Bs in my life and this was truly the best breakfast I have ever had at an inn. The owner is a chef who has contributed to famous cookbooks and it shows! I plan to return again and again and highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting the Ithaca/ Seneca area

This was our third time staying at A Stone's Throw. We love staying here when traveling to the Finger Lakes because we really enjoy the warm hospitality that is shown to us by Tony and Gina. They are the perfect hosts when staying here. Tony is an excellent chef by preparing excellent breakfast each morning. Gina is great at explaining what you will be having the day before and service by her is top notch. The rooms are nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our conversation with Gina and they are both always available to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. If you are looking for a top notch place to stay do not hesitate to stay here.

We recently stayed at A Stone's Throw Bed and Breakfast for a long weekend with friends to celebrate our 30th anniversaries. Tony and Gina made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped onto their beautiful wrap around porch. Tony's breakfasts were amazing, and the rooms were nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning soon!

This is a lovely Victorian home in a quiet setting but near all of the FLX attractions. Each room is comfy and thoughtfully equipped with amenities, and the breakfast is absolutely gourmet. Tony and Gina are wonderful hosts! We'll definitely be back!
