The Twin Lakes Lodge is off the main road, very quiet, and beautiful. At night the sky was full of stars... The cottage was extremely clean.. the tub was so clean that I did not reclean before using which I normally do. MOST OF ALL, I CANNOT THANK BARBARA ENOUGH FOR MAKING OUR STAY, THE VERY BEST EXPERIECE WE HAD... More

Property is amazing - 8000 acres and 8miles of trails plus two lakes. Steven is very gracious as well as the rest of his family. Rooms are serviceable and well maintained but could us a facelift. Great location to relax and also centered nicely in the Catskills. Steve also usually has a great bonfire during the evenings

The grounds were clean, quiet, and beautiful. The room with 2 king size beds was well kept, clean, air conditioned and equipped with plenty of towels as well as free WiFi. There's a home style continental breakfast offered in the morning. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The lake with gazebo was so relaxing and peaceful. I would... More

From what I could tell, I was the SOLE person at this place on the Wednesday before Labor Day. No one to check me in (OK) - however there is no cell service, so no way to call anyone to ask about parking, ice, wifi, directions to town ANYTHING. I guess if it is dressed up for a wedding and... When we first arrived there was a spuder, HUGE, in our room. We had a heart shaped hot tub in our room, which took up most of the room space. The air conditioner didn't work even on as cool as we could make it. There was no refrigerator. The shades were all bent and broken. The light in the bathroom... More

Of all the places we stayed between the midwest and Nova Scotia, this was the worst. It was almost uninhabitable! Old is one thing but DIRTY is another. This reminded me of the places you see advertised for $19.99 a night where you might take your life in your hand. But security wasn't an issue; filth was. They tried to... More

We were visiting from the UK on a road trip from NYC to Niagara in September and decided to stay here as our first stop outside of the city. The setting was lovely - little bungalows in pretty, peaceful grounds with plenty of space for families to enjoy. It could be a lovely place to relax in summer. However, our... More

stayed in one of their bungalows. Massive bath in the room but very loud heater and outdated interior. the bed was uncomfortable. the area is beautiful, nice lake and surrounding. Takes about 15 mins drive to get to some shops or restaurants. The breakfast in the Twin Lakes Lodge is only on Saturday and Sunday and very plain. So we... More

My son was recently married at Twin Lakes Lodge. The staff could not have been nicer. From planning to check-in to check-out, it was lovely. Gail was very helpful through the planning stages. The wedding itself was lakeside and very romantic. The cabins are a bit rustic, but comfortable. The grounds are well-maintained and beautiful. Our guests all had good... More

We stayed at the Twin Lakes Hotel for two nights on our summer road trip through the Hudson river valley in the summer of 2013. We booked it based on the price, proximity to the Catskill Mountains and the advertised outdoor activities. The location of the hotel was very convenient, we were close to New Paltz, Kingston and Woodstock, which... More
