Stayed for an extended weekend in the Willow Room. Chuck went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Really nice decor and grounds. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. Would definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to return ourselves.

Wow ! What a place, my wife and where in town for a wedding. We were lucky to find this place. It was immaculately clean, fabulous antiques, and treasure at every corner. A superb home cooked breakfast, but the best part is the innkeeper. He is welcoming, gracious, and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to return

A few weeks ago we were visiting from England and had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful, historic B and B. Chuck makes a wonderful, homemade, freshly prepared breakfast. He is knowledgeable about where to go, what to see and good places to eat out locally. He has an amazing fire pit and if you are well behaved you will have the treat of sitting there under the stars with the fire blazing. Chuck has made a big effort to be eco/environmentally conscious within the hotel. Great please to stay and you can book direct. Keep it quiet but the area is beautiful it is not too touristy. We were also fortunate enough to see Bald Eagles at the Ashokan reservoir

Spent 2 nights at the Fairlawn after picking our son up from Camp Loyaltown where he had spent the summer working. This is a beautiful home, with a very warm welcome from the host Chuck. The Innkeeper is a fascinating man, very helpful and recommend a great place to eat locally. Our room was idea for the three of us, very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious, the pumpkin bread and bacon, cheese and avocado omelette are highly recommended. The place is well maintained, with a great outdoor seating area with fire pit and pond. We spent a lovely hour chilling there watching the chipmunks playing. We will definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your compliments on your stay. Your family was a pleasure to have at the inn. International travelers are great to visit with about where they live, what do do and see when you visit. I appreciated the conversation at the firepit and hope to see you again when your son returns.

We stayed here in July 2019 and had a FANTASTIC time. The hotel is clean, quiet and the owner is awesome. We felt right at home there. The owner even built us a fire at our request outside:) Lovely sipping wine on the balcony and by the fire after dinner. He makes THE BEST breakfasts ever!!!!! His personal recipe for the bacon---YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!!!! The rooms are done VERY well with all the amenities you could ask for:) We rated it a 10+ our of 10. Simply delightful and WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! A super deal.

Thanks for the nice review. For our bacon we lay it out on a sheet pan, sprinkle it with brown sugar, salt and pepper and bake in the oven until your desired doneness. Lots of compliments on our back. We appreciate you taking the time to review us and we hope to see you again soon.
