From initial booking to checkout, Paul, our host, couldn't have been more gracious, informative and accommodating - simply a no-fuss, pleasant stay, and with very reasonable pricing considering the area (and the pretentiousness of other local places). Don't let the outside of the building deter you; the inside is pure Victorian charm, and the breakfasts are amazing. I haven't been...

My wife and I stayed here overnight for a getaway weekend visiting the Hudson Valley. Paul, the B&B owner was very prompt to respond to e-mails and phone calls planning the reservation and answering general questions. We stayed in the Queen Suite room, which was very large, immaculate, and much nicer than the website suggested. We had a very comfortable...

The Country Squire B&B is a find. Immaculately maintained and on a quiet street it is the perfect place to base yourself while exploring Hudson and the surrounding area. My husband and I stayed in the room on the 2nd floor with the private outdoor seating area. It was wonderful to be able to open the door and feel the...

This is a delightful find in an area that doesn't have a plethora of excellent accommodations. The proprietor is very knowledgable of attractions in the area and has done an excellent job of restoring an older property. It'sA Superb quiet, restful and the breakfast was excellent.

Hudson is a beautiful town to visit. We had a wonderful weekend. The owner of the Country Squire keeps a beautiful, clean, uncluttered home. Paul is VERY helpful regarding things to do, see and where to eat in and around Hudson. I recommend this B&B and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here in may this year. Very friendly host, did communicate very well before we arrived etc. Lovely rooms in romantic american style. Breakfast is very well taken care of with home baked banana/kiwi bread/cake. Just a 10 minutes walk from the main street in Hudson and a lot of other sightseeing things to do.... discover it for you selves....

We definitely enjoyed our stay at The Country Squire and would absolutely stay there again. Paul, the owner, goes out of his way to be nice, helpful and make you feel like special guests. The breakfasts are very nice and feature home baked goods prepared by Paul's sister. Our room was spacious and charming (also air conditioned), and the bathroom...

A lovely B and B which is made even better by the delightful, knowledgeable and friendly host, Paul. We started our visit being picked up at the train station in Paul's vintage station wagon (just as shown on the website). We stayed in the ground floor queen suite. Simply decorated and very comfy bed. Fresh fruit, yogurt and breads in...

First, I have to say the owner and host, Paul, is such a delightful gentleman!! He was so welcoming when we arrived and even offered to pick us up at the train station (through a series of minor mishaps we drove and so missed the opportunity to ride in his classic station wagon!) The B&B was so comfortable and welcoming...
