We booked into this hotel 6th January to 22nd January. We loved it so much we are still here until the 2nd Feb. The hotel is 200 years old and we love it. Our room is no 43 tucked away off the main patio. It was spotlessly clean and quite large. It has a small window that opens onto a...

We stayed here for 3 nights at New Years 2017. The room was on the second floor overlooking the courtyard/restaurant. The place is over 200 years old and claims to be a place where Santa Ana stayed in early 1800's. The room was small but functional. The bathroom was also very small. There was noise but that's what earplugs are...

Arrived about 2 pm on Saturday afternoon, there was a small band playing for the lunch crowd in the courtyard....very nice. Check in easy. Girls at desk were helpful and friendly..... At little English. Room was fine with a double and twin bed and like 20 ceilings. Bathroom small but adequate. Price great! Loved the colonial feel of the hotel....

This is an older colonial hotel, dating from the early 1800s. I loved it and was utterly charmed. One is within easy walking distance of the Jardin Zenea and all the fun activities going on in the Centro, as well as the Ole Institute where I was studying Spanish. The receptionist here was warm, social & welcoming. I liked going...

For our two day visit to Queretaro, we chose the Hidalgo Hotel! First, the location is great. It's located in the heart of the old city just a short walk to all of the shops and attractions downtown. The hotel itself is an old colonial building restored to its former glory. Guest rooms surround the central courtyard complete with fountain...

The Hidalgo, having stood for almost 200 years, is the oldest hotel in Querétaro. It features a charming interior patio, good restaurant and pleasant rooms at a very reasonable price. I would recommend, however, that you spend just a little more (about $7.50 at today's exchange rate) to reserve a room with a king or two double beds. These rooms...

I really love staying in colonial style hotels in Mexico; therefore, I chose this one. I am so glad that I did. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Queretaro. Beautiful courtyard, great breakfast and coffee, and wonderful staff all made my stay here unforgettable. Just walk out of the entrance,...

I loved staying here! My room was immaculate, spacious, with a TV, hot shower, and free water. Yes, room windows open into an interior courtyard and can be a little dark, but it was okay. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal, near everything. I loved the nightly live music in the courtyard courtesy of the...

If you are looking for luxury rooms, this place is not for you. But the ambiance, friendly staff and location make up for it! It is very colonial and beautiful. The rooms are basic, supplied with shampoo and bottled water, but no blow dryer. The restaurant is delightful, food good and prices very reasonable. I look forward to going back...

great hotel and staff was friendly...it started to feel like home after we stayed 10 days! the location can't be beat, right on a pedestrian walkway in the middle of the historic center. at first, we thought our room in the back was a little small, but since we were only 2 people and only wanted one bed (the most...
