This motel is on the busiest highway in Mexico. The walls and rooms have no noise barriers so it is very loud. Was told there were no rooms that didn't have stairs. The rooms have a stench but appear clean. The pools were all freezing cold, even the hot tub outside. The restaurant was cute and quaint, and the hotel staff were amazing. They are the only reason I didn't give this place a 1. They were nice and one man even allowed us to follow him into town. The highway is not easy on/off and to go to centro, you have to go about 5 minutes the opposite direction before being able to turn around. Overall I would not stay here again merely for the airport proximity. Stay in centro - it isn't that far.
Stayed here for one night before an early morning flight out of QRO airport. Friendly check-in. Room was super nice - large jacuzzi tub, strong A/C, luxe and spacious and clean marble bathroom and shower. Excellent value for the money. I accidentally left my iPhone in the room when I checked out. The hotel found my phone and arranged for it to be overnighted via FedEx back to me in Texas. They were so very helpful and went out of their way to get my phone back to me. The experience was great even without the phone drama, but the great service in helping return my phone to me just made the experience that much more impressive. Thanks Latit!!!!!
We needed to be at the airport for our 6am flight and this hotel worked out very well. The taxi was there on time and we were at the airport in 15 minutes. I would not choose this hotel for stays longer than one night. It was clean and had all the necessary amenities, but the rooms are rather dark, it is next to the highway, so you can always hear cars passing by. But, as I said it works great for an overnight stay if you are flying out of QRO in the morning.
Well this review is a little hard, we went there with another couple and requested 2 separate bedrooms. We went to Queretaro by road trip so we checked in until 4am. We called before of course and they told us we could check in at any hour so we arrived to the city and went partying. We did that, instead of checking in first, because the hotel is outside of Queretaro. Is like 20 mins going on the Qto-Mexico highway and there are no much signs to find it. So that is a disadvantage, is far and hard to find. We chose it because the rest of Queretaro's hotels were booked for the holidays. Anyways, when we arrived there, they gave us a double room. It was kind of a mini apartment (which was okay) and it had 2 bedrooms. So we did get our 2 rooms but together haha so it was no big deal to me but well what if we wanted more privacy? Our room was good I liked it. The bed was very comfy and I had a nice night sleep. However the bathroom was not very good. I mean it was clean and nice BUT it has a (not sure how to say in english, it will be tragaluz in spanish) well the bath specifically has no ceiling and given that the weather was veryyyy cold I was freezing there! And why was I freezing? well because the hot water took a long time to show up!! I did not want to waste water so I got in there but had to freeze for almost 5 minutes! :( my roommate did get hot water, so is just the first one who suffers. However, in the other room my friends did not have water and had to use our bathroom so well, they hated the hotel. I liked some things but did not like other. Anyways I wont stay there again. …
I have been traveling all my life for long business trips, this hotel was the best one , the location is great, the prices is very completive, everything was great big rooms , and a great customer service , I will definitive be back here I will recommended
I have been traveling all my life, which basically means that I have seen hostels to 5* star hotels, but what I have experienced in The Latit Real Hacienda de Santiago is in a class by itself. First of all, as a business traveler you are right where you want to be: close to all the business parks, which I specially enjoyed. At the same time the city center is not far at all - maybe some 15 to 20 min if you grab a taxi. Specially the historic, colonial center is definitely worth a visit. The hotel seems to have a very distinct, different concept apart from all the other, local business (chain) hotels: Rooms are still locked with real keys, just like you won't find any standardized rooms, which is indeed kinda "refreshing" in times of hotel standardization. Hotel facilities are excellent, the "colonial" architecture very inviting, rooms are very clean, however services are exceptional. Working myself in tourism , I have never experienced such a welcoming atmosphere and unique sense for hospitality. Employees are very courteous and do absolutely always have a smile on their lips- room maids to hotel managers. What is more, I never expected to find such culinary delights in a hotel restaurant - the restaurant s chef de cuisine is an Italian, called Giovanni- Make sure you give his "Tagliata al Rib Eye" a try. I do promise you, within some bites you are transferred directly to Italy. As far as I know they are currently working on opening up a new restaurant - What a pity I could not try it out! Also you need to be aware that the hotel is located close to the highway, which allows short transportation distances, but of course you can hear cars passing by if you do not close your windows. Reflecting my stay at the Latit - although there might be some minor, little spaces for improvement - I was simply overwhelmed by all the outstanding hospitality and services. Thank you for making my stay fabulous! Mil gracias por hacer mi estancia en su hotel tan agradable! Nos vemos pronto!…
Enjoyed an overnight stay here before catching a flight from Querétaro airport. The hotel sits on the slip-road of Highway 45 (that connects Querétaro with the Mexico-Tuxpan. From the road, and inside the compound, the white-washed buildings are very attractive and feel new (although the place has been open for 3 years). Rooms are arranged around a large courtyard, and are nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. Reception and bar/restaurant staff (Jesús in particular) are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Had an evening meal and breakfast, and both were excellent. The downside of having a room near the entrance to the Hacienda is that the traffic noise can be disruptive. However, after several hours, I was starting to not notice it so much, and I imagine that one simply gets used to it. The Hacienda is very convenient for the airport, and I would stay here again, albeit requesting a room further from the road.…
Ok so i stayed here for a weekend. The location is ok and easy to find, just very noisy as its on the highway. The hotel decor is beautiful and the rooms are well decorated and really very comfortable. The staff very very friendly too. The problem here is that it boasts a restaurant, thats really a very small cafe with a large menu of average food. Steam rooms that dont work. A spa thats actually a guy that can come and give you a massage. And a pool of which you would expect more. Its not exactly cheap to stay here, so finally i would say, its a top, top, top of the range motel but a very average hotel.
