We had seen this hotel on one of our previous visits and promised to try it out. Situated in the heart of town this is a perfect hotel from which to explore the city and all it has to offer. The check-in was hassle-free and the welcome drink was, well ... welcome. After initial doubt about the room being noisy because it was right opposite a bathroom, the stay turned out to be perfect. The room is a little dark, but since we spent most of the daylight hours exploring, this hardly mattered. To be expected for a hotel in this location, the parking is a little difficult. There is parking available and reserved for the hotel at a parking lot about 500m from the hotel. So don't forget anything in the car.
Very clean room, convenient location and a warm welcome from the staff that was very helpful with restaurants. Two cautions: on Priceline it says breakfast included but it's only coffee- that is misleading-- and the sleepy staff forgot a 3 am wake-up call for the airport. No excuse there. Other than that, give them a chance and you will likely be delighted but reconfirm the breakfast.
Love this little hotel. It has a very unique modern and Scandinavian design. Beds are comfy, shower was huge with a wonderful giant shower head and lights built into the floor. Ricardo at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. For the price, you can't beat this. Great location too!
Our room was spacious, clean, and contemporary (not Mexican furnished). There is a lovely outdoor area where there is a bar and where breakfast is served. It is very relaxing. The hotel staff was terrific. They would do anything to help and make you happy. Several spoke English quite well. MO17 was a pleasure and a great start to our month in Mexico.
This very nice and modern hotel sits 3 blocks away from downtown Queretaro which makes it very easily to get in and out of the hectic old historic part of the city. The hotel is only 7 rooms in size, this isnt your typical hotel, and so much so in that lies its full potential. The top floor has 2 suites, rooms 7 and 8, the bottom floor has rooms 6 thru 1, 6 in the back thru 1 in the front facing the street. Room number 4 is right in front of the pump system of the hotel so noise could be a problem, same as room 1 because of cars going by melcho ocampo street. The rooms are furnished with wood, black tainted wood, and dark stone floors. My room number 8 faced the back patio and tree with a balcony. Things that were a concern to me: When reserving i got room number 7, upon arrival i received room 8, according to the front desk there was a light fixture issue, however there were people staying in room 7, at the same time i stayed at the place, so first, a lie to a customer, is not something good. 2nd, the AC in my room was off upon arrival, queretaro has very hot 35celcius and higher weather, it took the entire night for the unit to cool the room down to 23celcius, they have an old LG art unit, which is probably 9000 btu, or 12000 not enough for such a large room. The tub, the toilet, and the shower worked beatifully, and yes no privacy, but for us it wasnt a problem. 3rd. Breakfast, its included, but all of a sudden, on sunday there was no chicken at all in the hotel. So nothing with chicken could be served. Not good. Also because someone booked the entire terrace on saturday I couldnt eat next to the tree, i had to eat in the terrace next to my room. 4. There used to be bar, but its long gone, it doesnt operate, and there are only chairs in the terrace, how come? The place should attract customers, but when asked, I was told it doesnt operate anymore. 5. Parking was good, unfortunately it closed at 10 pm, however getting in and out was just a door bell and a call away, the street is safe, at least it seemed like it, but i had to walk 3 blocks to get to the hotel entrance. 6. Never got the wifi password, if there was one i called but never got it. there is full 4g coverage at the hotel.…
