I spend in this hotel a week in february on the bussines trip this year. I would come again even for private purposes. This hotel is not few steps from the center, its in the center! But it offers you very quiet stay in the city. Prices are very friendly. When i am in the city i always pop in... More

I wasn't able to sleep, extremely noisy at night and extremely noisy early in the morning...I REGRET to had chosen this hotel. The only good point is that the location is excellent but the nights there are not worthy...also the word luxury is mentioned...I have been to lower category hotels which are cleaner and better than this one. I won't... More

We certainly enjoyed this our first stay and will definitely return. The staff were pleasant and quite attentive. If it matters to you, some have better command of English than others, of course, but most handle the challenge well. Rooms were attractive and large. Lots of elegant amenities, including air conditioning, which is unusual in this area.

I used to be a regular guest at this hotel, staying 1 week a month for business so it became a home away from home. I recently return after an long an absence (read years) and was not impressed with the changes. It used to be a delightful old colonial hotel with lovely hand painted tile, and a charming old... I really liked this small boutique hotel - The rooms are right next to the main patio and that makes them noisy to me. Sunday buffet is very good and everyone in general is attentive enough and try to make you feel at home. I also found the rooms on the smaller side of things.

I visited the Meson de Santa Rosa for breakfast. Service was fair to poor. We ordered Omelet with regular eggs and they brought with whites (claras); the huevos rancheros were bland and not much personality. Same with their sweet bread. I would not recommend. There arte better places just across the street. we want to try since they have new... More

A 300 hundred year mansion converted to a boutique hotel, magnificent .... The high ceiling, elegant wood work is amazing.... An oasis and a retrieve for the traveler in you.... The plaza across the street will take you back to when cultures and traditions played a role... Try it...

I've stayed here several times. Beautiful hotel, conveniently located on the plaza, good food in the restaurant. We went in to make a reservation and encountered an extremely rude desk clerk. It's still a beautiful place but the customer service is not what it was in the past...when it was a five-star hotel.

Overall the hotel is very good. - Clean rooms and unique design - This is walk distance from the centro historico most visited places - Breaskfast is included but basic (buffet) - Nice terrace and decorations CONS - Try to avoid to stay in a room near the main lobby...too much noise others are very good

The Meson is absolutely stunning and the decor spectacular. The library is a great place to spend a quiet moment. And the piazza with the pool helps one relax and unwind. The rooms are spacious and plush. This is an excellent hotel in an excellent location. However, it does not quite live up to its promise. It lacks character, there... More
