This place is smack in the middle of downtown. Everything is walkable from here. Antonio is a ver helpful guy and has great art in the hotel itself. The breakfast is very nice in the mornings and the high vaulted ceilings are such a charm!

I spent the NYE in Querétaro only because of Casa del Atrio. Owner is pet friendly, thus it was an excellent option for my family and our dog. Once there each of us have a massage session, which helped us to set in the holiday mood. Location is superb! It is a few blocks away from the Plaza de Armas... More

This is quite a special little place - and it is clear that a lot of love has gone into it. Antonio is a really nice and gracious host, and all the staff were extremely friendly. Our room was excellent, with a great bed and very quiet. The breakfasts were especially good - probably the best we had in our... More

Was there for 4 days at the end of December. 200+ year old colonial building. Like being in a museum. Great bedding, cable & internet. Delicious breakfast included. Queretaro is a great city. We also went to San Miguel and my wife & I actually preferred Queretaro.

Excellent property. Staff are super nice and helpful. The breakfast is great and the owner, Antonio, is always asking how your stay us going. Super attentive. Love the courtyard tables and variety of rooms.

Our host, Antonio, created an experience that will be long remembered. We recommend this hotel for it's great ambiance, beautiful facilities (the shower was to die for), comfortable beds and fantastic breakfast. Our pets were welcomed and our host even welcomed us at the curb in front of the hotel. We were very tired and all our needs were taken... More

Secondarily, my visit was about tourism and so I chose city center. But first I chose this city as I am considering starting a business in Mexico and Querétaro addressed various of my needs. Reviews balanced La Casa del Atrio on the top of my hotel list though I came prepared to change if needed; instead I stayed two weeks.... More

Antonio and all his staff were so kind and hospitable. The hotel was beautiful and appealing. His restaurant recommendations were impeccable and his knowledge of the city made our trip memorable. We are so sad to leave and will be back. Thank you Antonio!

We actually didn't stay at this hotel. It is not a 'boutique hotel' as they call it, but a handful of rooms inside an antiquities gallery that smells intensely like dust. When the receptionist walked us into the room, my first impression was the darkness and the strong smell of insecticide, disinfectant and aromatizer all mixed together. Not a single... More

We thought the service and the quality of the room was fabulous. A lovely breakfast was included. Very modern updates in a very old building full of character. Very helpful staff. We would highly recommend this place.
