This camp really lives up to its name. Got a great location for my tent. The toilets and showers were not too far away. The national park is on the other side of the river. Hippoes and elephants could be seen in and nearby the camp. And even a leopard was seen. The walking path to the reception area was... More

We spent 3 nights at the campsite, made 2 game drives with and are themselves driven in SLNP. We saw a lot of animals, especially hunting wild dogs The camp is ideal and very nice right on the river. After several trips in Southern Africa, the stay at the Wildlife Camp was an outstanding, positive experience, the guides are great and... More

I stayed here recently in one of the chalets with a balcony overlooking the river. Could see the hippos off in the distance, and we had elephants wandering around at night. Brilliant. I thought the rooms were a good size, with good mosquito nets and a great bathroom. I did safaris from the camp and I thought these were a... More

We loved staying here because at night we really felt like we were in the middle of all the animals. On our way back to our cottage one the evening (driven by one of the staff) we saw giraffes and gazelles by shining our flashlight around, at night we also we saw a hippo a metre in front of our... Stayed in one of the Permanent tents along the river. You can hear and see all sorts of wildlife along the river. Book game drives with WildLife Camp they have the best guides. Everyone was super knowledgable and knew how to track the big 5. You will come across lots of other overland tours which is great for swapping stories.

We stayed here for two nights camping whilst visiting South Luangwa. The toilets and showers were lovely, there was problems with getting hot water if the other showers were being used at the same time. The bar was expensive relatively, compared to other campsites in Africa, around $3 for a drink. We had two game drives, a morning and evening... More

This was not the first time we camped in wildlife camp. The sunset view over the Luangwa river cannot be matched and the wild visitors always are a joy. Sometimes it can get a bit busy with overlanders but the campsite is big enough for all . After the restoration of the bar and swimming pool the ablution and shower... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in one of the chalets. We booked from Livingstone and were not disappointed. The food is excellent and staff friendly and knowledgable. The location is perfect. It's by the river which is also the boarder to the park so there are usually many animals in view from the camp. We saw monkeys, baboons, Impala... More

We spent three nights here and would have loved to have stayed more! We camped in our own tent - the site was spacious, good facilities and with friendly staff. The view overlooking the river was spectacular, lots of animals to be seen during the day and during sun down. Reception staff were also fantastic, very friendly and helpful! We... More

We visited the Wildlife Camp for 3 days 4 nights in May 2016. The rainy season was ending and we had no rain. We were told that the camp can host 100 guests in the chalets and the campground. While we were there there were 4 to 8 in the chalets and maybe 10 in the campground. Game drives were... More
