We had a wonderful time at Kapamba. Steve was a really good host, guiding and managing at the same time. The chalet was large, beautifully designed, and in excellent shape. The elevated private lounge deck was our favourite spot in the camp, chilling and watching...More
We stayed 4 nights at Kapamba. The rooms are nice, authentic and with only 4 rooms everyone has the absolute privacy. The Kapamba river provides enough to see, even you relax over lunch.

Thanks for your question! June is a great time to visit. It's hard to answer whether you'll see animals in the vicinity of Kapamba. There is loads of game in the vicinity, and you are likely to see elephants and other animals coming to the Kapamba River right in front of camp. There have been lions in camp before, but it's impossible to predict when or if it will happen while you are there. The Kapamba game-viewing area has a wide variety of game, including lions, elephants, giraffe, zebra, and often leopards and wild dogs as well!

"There are only four and they are all of a similar high standard."
