Our first experience with a safari camp in Africa and this one is not to be missed. Garth & Liz were excellent hosts providing an atmosphere that was very unique in setting and outstanding in ambiance. The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff very attentive to our needs. Our guide, Sly, was absolutely the best providing an excellent... More

We stayed here for 3 days and had the best wildlife experience of our safari. We saw leopard on the way to the camp and there is a local leopard who is very familiar with vehicles and is happy to have you nearby for as long as you want. Hippo and crocs are in the river below camp. he camp... More

We arrived in Kaingo Camp, bedraggled from flight cancellation out of Atlanta, and three missing suitcases. We were warmly welcomed by Garth and Liz, the managers, with drinks and clothing, all much needed. The bungalows are well arranged, large and comfortable, with very comfortable beds. Outside is a small porch area overlooking the river, where we spent our afternoons watching... More

We visited Kaingo and Mwamba camps again this year (our 7th time!), and as always, it was magical and fantastic. Patrick was our guide, and he is absolutely one of THE best. We've known him for 14 years and appreciate his love of the bush; his sense of humor; his concern for his guests; his deep respect for the animals.... More

We've "done" Southern Africa's Parks - from Namibia, through Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa itself - and this is possibly the best game experience we've ever had! The camp itself could probably do with some TLC but, fortunately, the quality of guiding and hospitality, more than makes up for it. Being a little further north of the main gate... More

My husband & I have traveled to Africa 4 times. We stayed at Kaingo in June of 2015 and it is one of my favorite safari camps. Chalets are roomy and comfortable, service is impeccable, with delicious meals, but above all else - the game is plentiful and AMAZING. In 6 nights at Kaingo we saw 2 different huge lion... More

Excellent visit several weeks ago during the dry season. Excellent manager and staff w/ great game viewing. Most unique about this propoerty is the opportunity to view wild life from five diffferent hides or perspectives.
