Returning for a second visit we had an excellent time. It really is an outstanding camp and an outstanding area for wildlife, particularly lion and leopard. Guided by the excellent Patrick we had an outstanding week with many and varied sightings: the Hollywood’s hunting impala

Hello Berdewelle, Thank you so much for your fantastic review, and kind words of praise! We're so delighted that you've been just as happy the second time around at our camps. Patrick had a fabulous time with you, and so enjoyed his all day safari with you! I'll be sure to pass on your praise to him. Thank you for sharing some of your wildlife moments here on TripAdvisor, getting you out in the wilderness to get close to amazing animal encounters is what a big part of our safari ethos. Hence the opportunity to do midday activities at our camps. Thank you for the kind words on Kaingo, I have taken note of the outdoor shower comment! In 2017 with our refurbishment an outdoor shower was added to "The First House", our deluxe suite, but I'll be sure to let the Shenton's know that you'd recommend it for all of our chalets. We hope to see you once again in the not too distant future, until then... Salani bwino, safe travels. Agata & The Shenton Safaris Family

As ever a warm welcome awaited us on our return to Shenton's. We had driven up from the main gate at the start of our trip and our first encounter was a delicious bush breakfast on the ridge overlooking the Luangwa River close to the Ebony Grove, one of our favourite spots. It
