We stayed at Flatdogs in South Luangwa National Park twice in 2016 and absolutely loved our trips each time with different couples. Once we went in June and stayed at the Crocs Next which was fabulous accommodations and the safaris were always a highlight. The next time was in September and we stayed at the Treehouse. We enjoyed that as...

I went to Flat dogs camp for 1 night in Oct. I went with a group of 4 friends and myself. Flat dogs in an incredible place to go to. The first thing to strike me when we arrived was the loving welcome we received. So friendly and helpful. We stayed in a house which had an incredible amount of...

When visiting Zambia we stayed at flat dogs camp, we stayed in the crocs nest and also the treehouse, both amazing! Stay in crocs nest if you want luxury and treehouse if you want to sleep rough although I preferred the treehouse because all you could hear through the night was the animals it was absolutely unreal being right in...

Unhooked from this crazy world and found a paradise. While there is danger all around, I never once felt stressed. The guards appear out of nowhere to escort you to and fro from your tent. Loved the alfresco showers. The easy relaxed air about the camp was everything I could have hoped for. The choice of meals for dinner was...

Let's first focus on whats important. The Safari experience from this camp is top class!! The guides are very knowledgable and they spare no effort when it comes to trying to provide the best experience possible during your Safari. I have been to safaris in every country in southern and eastern Africa and Flatdog is as good as it can...

We spent 3 nights here - and stayed in a quite simple, but bright and nice chalet. We booked a package including all meals and safaris, and everything worked perfectly. Nice early breakfast, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Everything excellent. Only risk is that you gain weight ;-) Even though we stayed here in the raining season, we had...

Flatdogs was our first choice, but they were sold out so we ended up staying elsewhere. However, we still wanted to check it out so we stopped there for lunch after a self-drive in the national park. The food was fantastic, and the service even better. We also got a tour of the grounds, and wow!! The tents were spectacular,...

Recently spent 3 nights here while recently visiting my daughter who is in the peace corps. Managers Jaime and Wendy were superb. We requested Geoffrey to be our guide. We did 2 day safaris and 2 night safaris. He sure knows his birds. While on safaris we spotted over 120 bird species. Tents are very comfortable and meals were delicious....

2 adult couples sharing the 2 bedroom Crocs Nest. The rooms are big and comfortable with each bedroom en suite and a large living area between the 2 rooms.. Private deck and pool overlooking the Luwanga River. Service was top notch. Flat Dogs is just outside the entrance to the park, takes 5 minutes or so to the gate and...

While vacationing near South Luanga National Park, we had lunch at Flatdog. It was wonderful! My grandson had a terrific hamburger, another had the pizza....I loved the nacho chips. We sat near waters edge, and enjoyed impala sightings and baboons. Drinks were very refreshing.....with lots of ice!!!!! You must eat here when entering or exiting the park. Attentive staff!
