Fantastic small intimate camp. Very well organised and we were very well looked after. Food was excellent and the tents (just 6 of them) were well appointed and very comfortable. Toileteries etc. all provided including mosquito repellent. Now for the most important aspect of a safari camp; the guides; well ours (Kanga) was just outstanding.

To give this property a poor or terrible rating is not "quite right". The property is good, the tents are very comfortable, great location. The staff are wonderful, actually they are fabulous. The food is very good. The SAFETY is questionable. Whilst we were in the valley we were aware of 3 break ins / thefts within 36 hours. One...

Thank you very much for your response and thank you for your positive comments about your stay with us. We are sorry that this happened to you and that this had such a negative impact on your trip. You could not ask for better staff than we had in Tena Tena. Guide Julius was extremely accomplished and professional. He showed us so much during our stay. Christa, the camp manager, took us to our room with outdoor bathroom where we could see kudu, puku, white-fronted bee-eaters just feet away and of course we could hear the ever-present noisy...

The Tent facilities came first in my experience, narrowly only but nonetheless 1st. I was fortunate here to see wild dogs albeit during an evening safari and for a short time. But nevertheless I felt very rewarded knowing the difficulty. The tents are very very lovely a terrific design and their location in also great. Food not of the same...

Some of the best game viewing i have experienced in Africa taking our kids was truly a unforgettable experience for them and us. We enjoyed 5 star food and luxury tent accommodation. A special thanks to our guide Bertram who made our trip so incredible finding wild dogs and lions with their kills.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had an amazing time. The tent experience was a different one and from the other lodges and was quite warm at night and certainly very noisy! Hippos walking past the tent and having an argument during the night did not lead to a peaceful nights sleep! Amazing wildlife and a fantastic guide, Bertram...

We'd rate Tena Tena Camp an 11 out of 10 because, for us, it was absolutely perfect and we loved every second there. It is a beautiful camp, beautifully maintained with an outstanding staff (and of course guides) and fantastic food. We love tented camps and this is one of the best we've ever seen (and we've seen quite a...

Tena Tena is a luxury tent camp surrounded by hippos and lions at night. They take care of everything. The individual tents are very clean and comfortable. The open air bath with low walls allowed you to see out while showering or shaving. The fire pit allowed everyone to gather and share stories in the evening or during afternoon tea....
