This was our second visit to Bilimungwe and it didn't disappoint. We love this place and if we could have extended our two night stay, we would have done. Alex and the team do a superb job. The food, service and care is second to none - you are in the middle of a beautiful National Park, but they will...

We arrived 13th November and stayed (sorry for that) only two nights in an fantastic camp, served by friendly people, guided excellently by car and on foot. The cooking was great, Alex a Top Hostess and the rooms were perfect! Thank you and see you again some time!! Forget Internet and cellphones, it´s just nature at ist best!

Much praise has already been given to this beautiful bushcamp. All is true. It is a fantastic way of experiencing the Zambian wilderness, its fauna and flora. In addition to the exciting game drives with knowledgeble guides - which is the very heart of the stay of course - one cannot but wonder how the team of eight manages to...

Stayed here for three nights in October. Wonderful safaris twice a day, guided by the very knowledgeable Manda. We had one walking safari which was very informative. Our balcony overlooked the (man made) waterhole, so we were able to watch as various animals visited to drink during our afternoon siesta. The resident hippo, also, spent most of his time in...

Bilimungwe was an amazing experience. Alex, the head of the camp, is a wonderful, thoughtful, charming host and she never misses a beat. The staff is meticulous and kind. Game drives and walking safaris from this location were phenomenal and sitting on the porch was restful and equally amazing thanks to Harry, the resident hippo. We were traveling with an...

I have stayed at four of the Bushcamp Company's camps and Bilimungwe - "known as Bili to all') was another piece of heaven (Kuyenda was the other). Although very different from its counterpart, Bili had all the charm and warmth of Kuyenda but with added luxury! The wonderfully spacious chalet with luxurious furnishings and outside deck overlooking the pool (home...

My clients and I had a wonderful time for 3 days here. The Zambian staff and our guide, Manda, truly enhanced an already amazing safari. First the staff, we were greeted and sent off with a wonderful song. The staff was always smiling and engaging. The food was excellent, the service top notch (cornerstone of the Bushcamp Company), and the...

We have spent several years in Malawi, Zambia's neighboring country, doing mission work but haven't experienced "Africa" and someone recommended Mfuwe Lodge and Bushcamps. We poured over all of the pictures and read all of the information and chose Bilimungwe. Just the reservation process alone was a pleasant experience and the staff answered every one of our many questions. So,...

Our 3rd camp on our trip with the Bushcamp Company and it was the perfect way to round off our visit to South Luangwa National Park. This camp overlooks a lagoon - with its resident Harry the hippo wallowing happily in it. It's a magical place where you are surrounded by trees and feel at home immediately. The setting for...
