Was really impressed with the calibre of staff and lodging. Best food I had on safari was at Nsefu. Love that they don't charge single supplement. It's worth staying in a few of their accommodations to see the variety in scenery and staff.

As a group of six friends we have just returned from Luangwa having had an outstanding experience. We were there for just under two weeks and split the trip with vehicle safari and walking safari. Both were excellent experiences but the walking safari was the gem. Our guide Jason was simply brilliant. He was knowledgeable about everything we saw and asked... More

Robin Pope Safaris offers excellent safari camps in Nsefu. They took care of us for 5 nights. We had 2 nights of tent camping on a walking safari that is great for anyone. It was walking from camp to camp and seeing animals and animal tracks en route. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had an escort with a... More

What can you say - everyone has said it all already! My first safari and a great experience - so well looked after, all transfers well organised, food really great and so much wildlife to see and learn about. I booked direct with the company and like others have said Sakhile was fantastic with the planning and never failed to... More

We spent a week in the South Luangwa in different Robin Pope camps - Nkwali, Nsefu and best of all a five day mobile walking safari. The camps are all comfortable and very well run. We particularly appreciated the way that the camps are co-ordinated so that the transfers were seamless ( even down to our laundry being moved from... More

I have to say for the first time on Safari this is amazing. The staff were excellent, always friendly and brilliant game trackers. The statement 'you run out of superlatives' doesn't fit the bill as there are no words to describe the experience you will have with Robin Pope. DO THE BUSH CAMPING as the guide Braston and tracker Chris... More

I have to say that from start to finish our 10day (three locations) trip was so well organised by the Robin Pope team. Special mention to Sakhile who helped me with all the bookings, flights included. Nothing was too much trouble and her responses prompt an relevant. There is a consistency in the service and quality you receive from all... More

The opportunity for viewing some big game like elephants and hippos is very good, the safari vehicles are open which is my favorite. The guide I worked with was Thomas and he's incredibly nice. Overall a very nice place

We had a great stay at Robin's House, Nkwali Camp. The house has everything you need. The staff were very attentive yet unobtrusive. Our young girls loved their stay, they had even created activity books for the children. Every need was catered for, including my daughter's wheat allergy. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a complete break, a... More

Every aspect of Pope's service was excellent- from booking- to game viewing - to meeting our food and other preferences at the camps. It was on a par with the best we have experienced elsewhere. The Zambian managers, tour guides and support staff were superb: they were very knowledgeable (on birds; the environment as well as animals), wonderfully enthusiastic and... More
