What an honour to be the only guests in this slice of heaven in stunning surrounds on the edge of the wilderness. Understated luxury abounds, with wonderful hospitality and superb food- running themes across the Bushcamp Co portfolio. At the helm Mishek was incredibly knowledgable and interesting, and an excellent guide on out wonderful walks. We were also lucky to...

After staying at Mfuwe Lodge, we travelled to Zungulila - one of the Bushcamps more remote camps and we absolutely loved it. It's almost a three hour drive across the NP from Mfuwe, but of course the journey becomes a game drive in itself and we were very fortunate to come across a pack of Painted Dogs - 27 in...

This camp was a perfect place to start our safari trip with The Bushcamp Company. It is beautifully decorated and has a rustic charm and a very nice peaceful feel to it. The tented rooms are gorgeous to stay in and you can really enjoy your siesta time after the morning safari from the deck. There is a fabulous outdoor...

I have stayed at several of the bushcamps owned by Mfuwe Lodge but this was my first visit to Zungulila. This time I was lucky enough to travel with friends which allowed the added bonus of us having the bushcamp all to ourselves. To be honest it would have been equally wonderful staying here with complete strangers as it's hard...

A family of 2 adults and 2 adult children with our best friends on a trip to the African continent. Our first Bushcamp for two nights. Mishak and his team looked after us wonderfully. The food was delicious and they catered for the dietary issues of one of us. The wildlife tours, both driving, walking and night time spotlight were...

Every detail is taken care of. The staff are warm and friendly. At the bush camps the guides and camp manager join you for meals, it is a great opportunity to learn more about the country and the people. Jacob and Charles were engaging and knowledgeable and in my opinion providing world class hospitality. The night drives were a significant...

World class hospitality and guiding led by Jacob and his team. Charles our guide was experienced, competent and a fabulous birder which my wife took advantage of! Every detail was attended to with Stanley and Sam making sure we had food and drinks in the most surprising locations including sundowners in the river one night. The chef Joseph is a...

I was a lone female traveller to the Bushcamp company and decided last minute to spend a few days down at Zungalila Bushcamp. It's a totally different feeling down at camp. The camp is really cosy with a colonial feel to it, you almost feel like you've stepped back in time. Lanterns and candles light the way for you at...

Unlike mfwue lodge of the same company this is a great lodge to be. It is very small and gives a great bush experience. The tends are basic but quite charming with an outdoor shower and a bath tub on the patio. The view from the social area and two tends are great so make sure u ask for one...
