I don't give out 5 stars easily. Just look at my tripadvisor contributions and you will see. A restaurant, hotel or lodge has to go above and beyond to earn that. Mayukuyuku Bush Camp did just that! Our start at Mayukuyuku was not the best. Due to winds and some uncaring neighbors at the next campsite we had smoke blowing...

Many thanks for such a wonderful review. Meeting our guests’ needs is our top priority and your kind comments mean a lot to us. Whilst our tent exteriors are low key to blend with the environment they are certainly very comfortable and we are glad you enjoyed the comfortable bed and the river view. We are also very pleased to...

Beautiful campsite and lodge. Best service we received from camp staff on our 2 month camping trip through Zambia , Namibia and Botswana. Very friendly and helpful. Free wood for your fire. They even pack it and light it for you each evening. Very nice and friendly restaurant and bar. Can only give them 10 out of 10 !!!

We spend a few very nice and enjoyable days at the camp site. 3 sites are located directly at the river side. The river is full with Hippos and crocs. A perfect game view location. All ablutions are clean, with hot showers and well maintained. The site has also a nice bar and restaurant with a beautiful river view.

The campsite is good, with 6 pitches. 3 are by the river and the other 3 a bit further away. There are braai stands and a small shelter on each pitch. The toilet block is good, with nice loo's and hot showers and there are staff available to get wood, light fires etc... The lodge itself is quite small, but...

The campsite location is superb and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had elephants in the camp at night literally 5m away from our tent, the staff had told us they may come through so this was a realy bonus. We were sorry we only had one night to spend there and would highly recommend this camp.

Thank you so much for your review of the camp and your recommendation. Having an elephant so close to your tent must have been very exciting. For such large creatures they can move very quietly at night. Let's hope next time you can stay a little longer.

This camp is a very relaxing place where you can see animals around you. You really feel that you are in the middle of the african nature. The activities are well organized and the drivers are competent, experienced and also funny! Our tent was in front of the river from which we could see elefants, rhino, crocodiles and a lot...

We spent 3 nights in the camp. The camp site has a lot of privacy, a cover hut just in case, fireplace and the camp provide firewood, laundry and hot water in the shower. We're always happy to welcome back a guest and we're glad to hear you had a nice stay at the camp. It's good to escape from the city from time to time and head out to the bush.
