We had passed along the Skeleton Coast even saw an old shipwreck, we had been to the sea lions colony experienced the forcefully winds enjoyed the many birds flying over the beach. We arrived at the lodge in time to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the sea. The rooms all face the ocean you can sit out side or you...

Fantastic staff. Steve, the manager, was very gracious. We were the only guests at the hotel. It was off-season. The hotel is perfectly situated next to the seal colony. The food was fantastic and the room was very comfortable and roomy.

Such an atmospheric location...isolated, on the beach, the lodge was a great place to break the journey between Walvis Bay and Terrace Bay. The room was large with plenty of character, and plenty of hot water in the massive bathroom. Saw seals and porpoises as the sun was setting...magical. Dinner was a surprisingly delicious set menu, and there was enough...

This Lodge is situated right on the skeleton coast. The rooms are bright although when we visited in September once the sun went down they were cold with no heating. Dinner also proved to be a chilly experience and although we sat in fleeces we along with the handful of other guests shivered throughout the meal. The meal was hot...

We spent an anniversary weekend here in September 2016. Our second visit to Cape Cross Lodge. We love the remoteness of the location and find the food very good, the staff friendly and the rooms comfortable. Our self-drive to the Messum Crater was amazing - such stunning views. Long walks along the beach and hearing the waves crash at night...

Good place. Right on the beach. Might have had the best room there (room 8). Great view. Wifi in room although the front desk didn't think that was possible. Breakfast was good but maybe average by Namibian standards. Dinner was also good but not over the top. We enjoyed our stay.

This Lodge is located in a secluded area of the Skeleton Coast, just a few miles from the Cape Cross Seal colony. We turned up here hoping for lunch, and although we hadn't booked ahead and there were no other visitors, they were kind enough to open up the kitchen and offer us the full menu. The staff are friendly,...

This lodge is really in a secluded area of Namibia. It does offer very nice accommodation and good meals. You are very close to the massive seal colony but luckily far enough to avoid the smell and noise.

deciding to break the long trip between Swakupmond and Damaraland, we decided to spend a night here as part of our 15 day tour of Namibia. Definitely the best decision made. Simple check in, and our rooms were spotless and spacious. Patio doors opened to one of the worlds most desolate coasts on the planet. 4km from the Seal colony,...

We absolutely loved our stay at this lodge. Although it was extremely cold when we stayed there, the huge open fire surrounded by large comfortable sofas was a lovely way to still enjoy the incredible views. We watched jackals on the beach whilst sipping our wine. The rooms were more than adequate for our needs and had everything you would...
