The lodge is a perfect rest spot for those travelling the Skeleton Coast or Damaraland region. Day visitors are most welcome as well as overnight guests. The in-house museum accommodates past relics of early settlers at Cape Cross and visitors can explore the history entwined within the lodge surroundings. The Atlantic ocean hugs a vast expanse of beach where one can stroll while taking in the breathless vistas.

Stayed 2 nights at the lodge in January. Rooms were clean with 2 single beds with balcony overlooking the ocean. No TV, no aircon. Food is average although they attempt to present something attractive. But as in the 80's, too much sauce, overcooked vegetables, large portions.
