So close to nature, experience the primary colours and endless views in nature, yellow grass, red dunes and deep blue sky. Miracles of nature! 40 minutes drive to Sesriem entrance. Experience Namibia!

A lovely lodge to relax. The walking trails enable you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The sunset drive is very enjoyable. A bit more information about the petrified dunes and the environment would make the drive more interesting. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The cabin is the protected area of the Namib Desert camp. It's surrounded by red sand dunes, vast deserts and beautiful scenery. Early in the morning, the sun leaps in the fingers, and in the trees the little animals can be seen. The dry river bed, the dry branches, still bears signs of life, hard, tenacious, upward. The desire to...

Absolutely fantastic! This was real value for money, and like all the other Gondwana Lodges, absolutely professional, but with a personal and unique taste. The food was good and the staff were very friendly. The property and rooms were neat and tidy. My friends (who all visited Namibia for the first time and became Gondwana members before this trip), only...

Camping stands are private and have their own ablutions. It is near the gate which is nice if you want to leave early to go to Sossusvlei. We were hoping the sites would be near the beautiful rocky cliffs at the lodge, but it wasn't. There was enough lighting and plugs for electricity. The braai (barbeque) area was also sufficient....

What a TREAT!! and a real Oasis. A long drive but the dirt roads are good and we were travelling from Swakopmund to the Eastern Cape. A welcome two night stay here. This place caters mainly for foreign tourists arriving in coaches for a one night or two night stay, Germans mainly and then a smattering of french and eastern...

The highlight of our Sossusvlei trip, this lodge has stunning views and encourages you to simply sit and enjoy them. The accommodation was lovely if a little basic, the swimming pool was empty but the dinner was proper delicious Namibian food and the service was great. And did I mention the fabulous views??

This hotel is an oasis in a hot desert. Lush and cool with two beautiful pools. The rooms are cool and comfortable (although AC didn't work great). We were so happy to lounge by pool and drink fancy cocktail after long hot day at the dunes.

We really enjoyed our time at Namib Desert Lodge. It was a crazy drive to get there, but it was fun nonetheless. The food was good. The kids loved playing in the pool and walking around the hills outside of the hotel. Rooms were clean but could have used more air conditioning units for the double rooms.
