We've stayed for 2 nights in Mowani Mountain Camp during our honeymoon beginning of July. Staff was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. We booked the mountain suite and it was absolutely stunning! The views we got from our outdoor bathroom where unbelievable. Dinner was excellent and also the safari tour to spot the elephants was amazing. For us it... More

We camped at Mowani for 2 nighst. I can highly recommend the campsite each with it's own shower and kitchenette and barbeque space. The hot water is a wonderful luxury when camping and you can stoke the fire to make the hot water as it suits you. The setting is beautiful with wonderful vistas and privacy afforded by the large... Mowani Mountain Camp is simply amazing. We spent two nights here and were slightly battered by the long drive in to the camp but it is very well worth it. The rooms are well spaced apart from one another for privacy, and we found them to be spacious and comfortable. The sundowner spot is located on a rock next to... More

Dear jakehyr We are so happy you had such an excellent stay with us and particularly enjoyed our jovial and attentive staff! The drive to Mowani is indeed long and a little challenging, but, we believe that only makes the experience that much sweeter once you arrive in our isolated little paradise on the hill. Thank you so much for... More

We loved this place and were sorry to leave after one night. The tented room is gorgeous - everything is in place and it is decorated beautifully!. The views are exceptional and the beds were comfortable and cosy. The staff were friendly, engaging, obliging, funny and delightful. The food was good and they were happy to cater for our needs.... Mowani is advertised as luxury, so I had high expectations. It is in a beautiful setting and is very tastefully designed to blend in to the landscape. The rooms are nice and the dining is good. It's the little things that are missing that keep it from being the perfect lodge. Our room had 2 canvas windows that would not... More

An absolutely beautiful property in the Twyfelfontein area. Be sure to book a chalet with a view. It's amazing! The service and food were excellent and we had a great tour to see the Bushman drawings.

Mowani Mountain Camp is a unique and truly special place. The resort is nestled among giant granite boulders and takes advantage of the remarkable topography to blend in seamlessly with this one of the natural wonders of Namibia. In many ways, one is reminded of the Flintstones, but with the appropriate modern twist. The resort features a dozen two person... More

What you will get is not exactly luxury. But the place is so lovely that this shouldn't matter! The surrounding landscape is REALLY beautiful and you even get hot water because someone will come in the morning to heat it up with a wood fire for you! We< would certainly go there again!

This camp is in the absolute middle of nowhere and it is incredible! We recently stayed here in the Suite and the views from our deck were breathtaking. On arriving we were shown the famous San rock art at Twyfelfontein by our guide Samuel before going back the the camp's boulder top viewing point for sundowners complete with cocktails and... More

The rooms and location are lovely. Couldn't book a view room but still had a lovely view. The food was ok and the service rather poor. One waiter was quite rude which was very disappointing. The view from the sundowner area is spectacular and most of the staff quite nice. Had great success in seeing the desert elephants including a... More
