What a superb spot to stay, the lodges are hidden away in the rocks and you really feel you are away from it all. Great food and friendly staff. The game drive to see the desert adapted wildlife was superb. Close to Twyfelfontein. The location for the sundowners is not to be missed.

Stayed here for two nights. The location is amazing. I do however have a few observations that results in the poor rating. The greeting from the reception staff was a little curt. I felt that we were an inconvenience having arrived. The water in the was not even warm, which is unacceptable. There are no facilities in the room for...

Wonderful two days here just before Xmas 2016. You really are in the middle of nowhere, with the most amazing views across the landscape. The rooms are beautifully done. The food was very good. Sundowners on the enormous rock table above the camp are unforgettable.

The bungalows are located in the middle of the granite mountain, very friendly with the landscape. We stayed there for our honeymoon and we found a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us. The views from the terrace of each room are breathless, there is a view point for sunset and the restaurant and main lobby is so nice. No...

Mowani Mountain Camp is set in such a stunning setting it is difficult to describe. The accommodation is luxurious although the lack of air conditioning is a problem. Wifi is not available which is unacceptable in this day and age. Yes the scenery is stunning, but it is not up to the management to decide that guests should be looking...

Once again a last minute change, we booked initially their campsite, because we understood both lodges (kipwe and mowani) were fully booked. Although once arrived, they had a free room at Mowani, claiming that their booking system was not (never) accurate and not up to date. We already stayed here once, so we could benchmark, the lodge is still very...

This place is special. We had "The Suite" for one night while travelling through Damaraland. The suite looks over the valley below and is absolutely private. There is an outside bath and shower as well as an inside bathroom. The view from the huge bed is stunning as is the view from the lounge and deck area. The meals were...

Close to Twyfelfontein (rock paintings) and dotted among the boulder rocks lie the mushroom like domes of the lodge. Rooms are separate bungalows that are very spacious with a luxury interior and with a nice terrace. Reception is excellent. The rooms have no keys and are not locked. Inside you have an electronic in-room safe. There is no minibar and...

Superb accommodation in a unique setting. Friendly and helpful staff and a very good restaurant. Sundowners overlooking the valley are essential! Spent 2 nights here which also allowed plenty time for the Desert Elephant safari - not to be missed and a nice contrast to the Etosha game experience.

We were disappointed. Indeed this lodge is not very fair. The camper has no right to use the lodge accomodations (swimmingpool, restaurant, bar ...). So you can die. Happily, the campsite is Nice with beautifull view.
